My frustration with Jefferson County Probate has been greatly mitigated because of Mrs. Lindsey Eastwood. In spite of my fears and frustration she was able to explain how things work in Jefferson County Probate. After discussing my circumstances with her, she advised the best action for me to take in a way that a non-legal person could understand. Moreover, she was professional, patient, kind and empathetic towards me. I have watched so many “legal shows” on TV until I held her number for 3 weeks afraid to call. Mind you I did like “Matlock” & “Joe Peche” in “My cousin Vinny”.Nonetheless, calling Mrs. Eastwood was the best thing I could have done. She explained everything to me and sent a re-cap of our conversation via e-mail. She is an “amazing” attorney who I wish could start a “Probate Clinic “ in Birmingham like we have where I currently live because my family and friends are so frustrated with Jefferson County Probate procedure. Lindsey Eastwood represented me in a complex case, and she was a star in the courtroom. The judge ruled in our favor, and I know it was due to Lindsey’s representation and writing skills. She researched other applicable cases and was very prepared for all of our hearings. She’s a PitBull in a skirt, but you would not meet a nicer, dedicated person. She is an excellent communicator, and she always kept me updated on my case. Lindsey handled my case in a year, and now I think of her like family. Highly highly recommend her.
