I got terrible advice that ended in a very unfair settlement agreement. I knew nothing about going through a divorce and needed advice and guidance and all they wanted was my money as their invoices poured in and lousy nearly non-existent advice came in. I got 50/50 custody yet I am paying child support, alimony (even though the ex had an affair), and shared expenses. This attorney was a total waste of money and now I’m stuck in an awful decree that will require 10x the money to drag through court to change. I was over 6 months into trying to fix this mess and the can just kept getting kicked down the road while the invoices kept coming... Oh and now the ex gets a bunch of my money to spend with her new fiancé and she rubs it in a good bit too. Ex has no motivation to get a decent job and support herself now when I’m on the hook to give her a 1/3 of my pay. There was no abuse, drugs, or cheating on my side. I was a Deacon at a church, chaplain for a sports team, and active in all my children’s sports and activities. I worked hard and provided for my family in every way. This is the wrong attorney if you’re an honest hard working dad that wants justice from a cheating spouse.

UPDATE-2021 My ex decided to take me back to court because he felt he was entitled to more. Amy patiently guided me through this additional complaint and in the end I not only won, but she got my attorney fees awarded as well! Can't recommend Amy enough! We talked through various options and scenarios to ensure all bases were covered, and she walked me through the actions I needed to take on my end to protect my interests long term.
