I should have read the reviews before hiring this guy. He was not prepared for trial he cost me my witnesses and he increased his fees. He even threatened to sue me if I didn’t pay his outrageous bill immediately. He did not challenge any of the opposing counsel’s witnesses and let them lie on the stand. If you’re looking for an attorney for any reason stay away from this guy he didn’t even inform me of the judges decision until almost 30 days after the trial I had no notice or knowledge that the ruling had even been reached. I have yet to receive a single file concerning my case and there was little to no communication before during but after he wants his money. As a 70 year old widow he totally took it vantage of me.

The first day I met Mr. Skala I felt completely comfortable to have him as my attorney. I came into his office blindsided and very vulnerable to open up about my case. The first thing Mr. Skala asked me is to talked about the relationship I had with my father. The fact that Mr. Skala showed empathy and compassion, I knew he was the right one for the job. This whole experiences for me was a life changer for me and I’m very grateful that I made the right decision on walking into his office that day. Thank you again Jason Skala.

Horrible experience! Not only did I waste my money because Dan Allan did absolutely NOTHING for my case, he failed to submit important motions to the court and negligently or purposely withheld important information/documents from me even though I had called his office several times asking for the exact subject of those documents! He passed along those documents an entire month after he received them! His lack of communication and vague explanations was beyond frustrating; whenever he would finally return my phone calls, he brushed me off like I WAS the incompetent one. Not only that, I am highly suspicious that ethical/legal boundaries were being crossed with the fact that my son's fathers' attorney, Lindsay Dupuis worked under Dan Allan, which would explain his severe lack of interest or care towards my case. I ended up firing him and hiring a new attorney, which for a single mother raising two children off a single income, you can imagine the financial burden is significant. Please take this review as a WARNING, and do NOT hire Dan Allan!

Jason Skala is a stand up, respectable lawyer. Easy to work with and a plethra of knowledge and experience. I highly recommend him.

Jason is the bomb. He and his staff always went the extra mile to help with any questions or concerns we had. Jason never brushed us away. Jason and his staff is the team to use if you ever need a great lawyer. And it makes it even better since Jason is so good looking.

Huge thanks to Jay and his staff for assisting me with my legal needs. Jay answered the phone call promptly and was happy to provide his professional point of view for every question I had. He pointed me in the right direction in preparation with the next several steps moving forward. Aside from my initial issue, he was able to also point me in the direct of additional legal council needed outside of personal injury. Call him even if it is just a simple question! Thank you Jason!

I got ripped off too. A handful of phone calls and only one document typed up to me. They didn’t even try to serve my spouse. I called and told them I wanted the rest of my retainer back. He agreed. Two months later, I’m still waiting. I’ll call tomorrow. He’ll charge me for another call.

After 2 years with the public defender I hired Dan Allan. Almost a year later and $5000 later I can honestly say I my public defender was much more helpful! From the moment he was hired I expressed I wanted resolution. As private representation that charges $480 an hour it was like talking to a wall while throwing money out the window! Zero communication on his end and he didn't even care to file for 900 days of credit until after messing up 3 change of plea hearings due to lack of competence on his end. If you're seeking a lawyer willing to work for you and assist you in your legal situation I would definitely recommend you go elsewhere! In the end I feel like the DA would of been a better candidate to represent me than Mr. Allan.

Helped me become well equipped to handle the insurance companies surrounding my car accident. Jason is extremely knowledgeable and personable! I strongly appreciate he and the resources he has available to tackle on the fickle world of insurance, 10/10 would recommend
