We had the pleasure of working with Diana over the last two years. She assisted us with my immigration case(GC), our situation was quite difficult as a lot of changes happened during the pandemic. The entire time we worked with Diana she was so pleasant and kind, always tried to make herself available to speak with us and answer our many questions. Every time we talked she put us at ease, she worked so hard to make our immigration process as smooth as possible. Diana is so knowledgeable, professional, and her pricing is very reasonable, compared to other attorneys in Seattle.

I met her at the US Citizenship clinic. She came as a volunteer and helped me to check my citizenship application form. I used the immigration lawyer when I obtained my GC and I contacted him again but he never answered me back. I was so worried if my form was OK. Two other people at the Citizenship clinic made me really worried but she made me at ease. Her gentle and kind approach made me relaxed. I felt from her that she is very compassionate and want to help immigrant people from the bottom of her heart. I decided to hire her if I have a problem with USCIS. I passed the interview, therefore I didn't need to hire her. I highly recommend her. I am sure that she will do her job great because she was doing so good even though it was free citizenship clinic.

I was 6months pregnant when my Husband was detained. I spent over $2,000 on another attorney . That attorney let me down in so many ways. I was losing hope in attorneys and then I meet Diana. She was kind, compassionate, and hardworking. She worked with me and was able to get my husbands case remanded! His case is still pending but I am so grateful for her help! John was extremely compassionate with me and was so helpful and interested in my problems. He did a lot of research to bring to court instances of other trials similar to my case. Mr. Gordon represented us against a fraudulent building contractor. He was tenacious against the individual. After winning in court, and gaining a sizable judgement for us, he was able to turn that judgement into a secured lein on the individual's property. As you may know, judgements don't mean you will recover your losses, but the secured lein has provided the opportunity to actually recover our initial losses. I highly recommend Harry Gordon for any business needs. He set up my corporation, fought my former employer that tried to sue me as I was starting up, and has given me great legal advise along the way. As a surgeon, I appreciate people who just get the job done. Ms. Packard certainly did that for me but in a very compassionate manner. I was terminated without cause after decades of working in the same practice. She fought for me and I thus received a severance package that makes me pleased that they terminated me. She was worth every dime I paid her and was always compassionate when we spoke. She definitely fought harder for me than I would have.

In November of 2008 I retained Tamara Packard to assist me in resolving a dispute with my former employer. From the initial meeting to the signing of the negotiated agreement two months later, Attorney Packard acted dilligently, professionally, and assertively on my behalf to bring about a settlement I was more than pleased with.
My former employer is a small (100 employees) privately-held company. It was reluctant to provide the information necessary to establish a fair settlement. Attorney Packard countered their attorney's every argument against releasing information with her superior knowledge of applicable labor laws.
I completely trusted her advice during the negotiation of a severance package, and I have no doubt that she got me thousands and thousands of dollars more than I could have, on my own.

When I contacted Passenant & Shearin Law I was trying to do division of martial property process on my own due to financial issues after a very difficult divorce. It is very difficult to do on your own. I felt awkward about everything I was going through and not realizing how hard it was to do on my own. I contacted the office through email and they immediately respond back to me within 12 hours and started working on the case right away. The ladies did not judge make me feel uncomfortable about my situation and they was very honest about the whole case from beginning to end. They did not make me feel like I was just a client they made me feel like I was part of the team being available anytime of the day or night. Allen Bentley did a superb job of respresenting me and ulitmately prevailing in a federal criminal case that involved the imposition of an illegal sentence. We were up against bureaucratic US Attorneys who claimed they had a right to impose a $30 million restitution judgement against me simply because of a procedural error despite their knowledge that the sentencing judge intended the amount to be $50,000. Al did extensive research and provided superb arguments as to why the case should be put before the judge for resentencing. He ultimately got the government to stipulate to the resentencing and persuaded the judge to sentence me to the amount that he originally intended to impose ($50,000).

I should of have won or for went far, that case didn't because.it didn't add right to me tho. I seen with other people the same case as me they won there cases. My fiancé was falsely accused of a Robbery with a Firearm in 2017. He sat in the Lake County jail for 11 months and if found guilty he could've faced 10 years to Life. Nicholas Stack beat his case and he was found not guilty and walked away the same day. I highly recommend any and everyone to this man. He was very dedicated, straight forward and he meant business. Trouble came knocking on a Saturday afternoon. I was scared and needed advice. But it was Saturday. I used Avvo to locate a lawyer in my area. I selected David based on his breadth of practice and sent a contact request. I figured it would be Tuesday before I received a response, since Monday was the MLK holiday. Maria handled my messy divorce and 5 years of residual issues in a concise manner with knowledge, fairness (to all parties involved) and with a calmness that help me get though those difficult years. I can't begin to express how amazing Maria was in handling my case. I filed for divorce in August of 2009 and my ex-wife immediately began an unimaginable mud-slinging campaign in an effort to gain sole custody of our children. I wanted to reply in kind and engage in that battle to refute all the lies my ex was putting forth. But, Maria had a great game plan which she came up with after our first court appearance. We would simply stick to the facts. At first, it was difficult to sit back and let my character be assassinated time and time again. However, it was very easy to trust the strategy that Maria had in place.
There were several times during my case that the outlook seemed bleak. I would get uptight, panicked or nervous. Maria was always there to explain the divorce process and tell me why we need to maintain our strategy. She was always available to answer any question, no matter how trivial it might have been. She would explain in detail why things were relevant to the court. Even if I had naïve questions like as why they were relevant, Maria explained how my course of action be in my best interests (and the best interests of my children) and how my actions would work in my favor in the long run. To say she has a firm grasp on divorce law and the entire divorce process would be a vast understatement.
It is now October of 2010 and my case has just concluded. I’m absolutely convinced Maria is part soothsayer. Her strategy played out exactly as we had discussed back in 2009. The custody evaluation worked out in my favor, just as Maria said it would. The judge saw through the mudslinging of my ex and focused on the facts, just as Maria said she would. While there are no winners in a divorce, I feel truly vindicated that I stuck to my convictions (thanks to Maria’s guidance) and the judge ruled very heavily in my favor.
This was the first instance I needed a lawyer for more than one day. I am absolutely elated that I chose Maria Maier to be that lawyer. Her expertise and guidance helped me through a very difficult transition in my life. I wouldn’t wish a divorce on anybody, but I would highly recommend Maria to anyone who needs an expert lawyer on their side should they find themselves facing a divorce.

Philip K Grommet took the time for my fiancee and I who are first time home buyers, to solidify our duplex purchase in Binghamton NY.
