I Wouldn't have minded paying 300 for a 45 minute consultation if mr. Dan Nies knew anything about Arizona property law as he claimed. Most of the information he gave was wrong and got me into legal issues. He would not discuss the legal issues caused by his advice unless I paid 350hr. Why would someone pay 350 if the information received the 1st time was wrong? I would have given a one star but maybe the other lawyers at orangewood law are more knowledgeable than Mr. Nies.

Hired Joe "Joseph" Tobler for a criminal case. After giving $8k (you know that anyone just has lying around and ready to waste) he was on vacation. Showed up to the court appearance with a lot of "umm," "ahhh," and "well" that a 5th grader could have done better. Couldn't get a bond reduction because he did nothing to review the case but I'M SURE CLOCKED AND BILLED HIS "TIME." Their office just kept calling saying they needed another $4k in order to continue representing the case and was NO HELP!!! Never could get ahold of JOE TOBLER only everyone else in the office looking to get MORE money. Oh wait he emailed 1 time! What a JOKE for criminal defense!!!

So I got pulled over and got arrested by the Mesa Police Department for an unfair marijuana DUI. The Grand Canyon Law group took my case and assigned to me Alex Rubel. Even though I was a low income worker, Grand Canyon Law Group worked out a payment plan with me, and they were very patient and understanding when it came to the payments. I worked with Alex Rubel for nearly a year before the state decided to come after me. Alex was a big help and he and his team were very quick at responding to my questions. I'm glad that they were so well-informed, because their answers helped me a lot through this stressful process. When it came time for the trial, Alex and his associate represented me... and we won! I'm so happy and grateful for Grand Canyon Law Group! Without them, I'd probably be in jail and my partner wouldn't be able to pay for an apartment without me! We'd end up all homeless. If it weren't for Alex Rubel and Grand Canyon Law Group, I doubt I would have been able to win the case. Thank you, Alex Rubel and Grand Canyon Law Group!

Crooked law firm, do not trust, they ripped us off for $8,000.00. Ryan McPhie is dishonest, he made a unilateral decision to withdraw from our cases and then kept all of our money without justification. We hired McPhie to represent us not rip us off and charge us $8,000.00 for a consultation. They were easy cases, we then represented ourselves and we were acquitted. They also over billed us for an hourly rate when we paid a flat fee for our cases, and then lied about how many hours spent with the attorney. Ryan McPhie also made false statements to the State Bar Association to get away with what he did. Mr. McPhie used to be a prosecutor and he believes that gives him an edge on other lawyers. Fact is Prosecutors are the most dirty rotten scoundrels' of all lawyers. We also believe most of the reviews are fake. Reply to the Law Firms Response. Essentially everything in this review is true. Mr. McPhie seems to have the very misguided opinion that he is worth $405.00 per hour and can over bill you if he so desires to withdraw from your case after he was paid in full. The fact of the matter is McPhie wasted our time as I described, the full details of the case to his staff, that it was a malicious prosecution, and he was worried about his reputation, rather than his representation that he was paid in full for. A formal complaint will be filed against Mr. McPhie and the Law firm for breach of contact, unscrupulous business practices, causing extreme emotional duress and keeping all of our money without representing us in court for which he was paid in full, and false advertising.

This law firm was with me throught the entire process keeping me up to date on everything and was able to get me out of my situation completely like it never even happened a huge thanks to everyone who was there for me

CAVEAT EMPTOR We hired Grand Canyon Law Group to represent us in court, Ryan McPhie, decided to withdraw from our case and kept our $,8,000.00 Flat fee detainer. We represented ourselves and were acquitted. Ryan McPhie is a crook and somehow believes he is worth $405.00 an hour. I will tell you Ryan McPhie is NOT even worth $4.00 per hour and should be disbarred. We will be filing a lawsuit against Ryan McPhie, Steven "Elliot" Briggs and Grand Canyon Law Group for Attorney Malpractice, Breach of Contact and putting us under Extreme duress. Ryan McPhie said he used to be a prosecutor which is the worst kind of attorney there is. In my view Ryan McPhie is a Liar and a Thief... Don't believe all the reviews you read, we believe the reviews are fake.
