I spent several months researching how best to set up a Family Trust. As one might think, I started by considering doing the trust myself using an online provider, I mean how hard could it be to set up. It became very obvious to me that the online route resulted in too many questions and unknown risks. After interviewing a few firms I found Bryan at Phelps Law. He was knowledgeable, patient and most importantly creative with helping me design a multi generational trust that will ensure my wishes are carried out considering almost all contingencies.

I was requesting information on behalf of a mutual client and was rudely told by the receptionist or his assistant that she could not take down my information and call the client to verify the request was valid but that the client would have to call in to them. There is no reason that you cannot call the number you have on file for your client, poor customer service and a poor attitude.

They wanted $250 (for a 1.5 hour phone consultation) to ask them a simple question. There are other law firms that would just have answered it and more. But their free estate planning Webinars seem nice (I assume).

Just moving here from another state, Bryan reviewed the differences and updated everything in accordance with Arizona Law. Very personable and professional. Highly recommend

Phelps Law provided exceptional personal and professional assistance for setting up our family trust. Their business model for life long support and review for one upfront fee (for trust documentation and periodic reviews) was a very refreshing approach, especially as my wife and I approach retirement. Our experience with establishing a family trust is limited to Phelps Law. However, there isn’t a better and more thorough firm to work with, if you look I’ll assert you will not find a better approach, more family centric firm and supportive staff and attorneys than offered by Phelps. They exclusively concentrate on estate planning and family trusts for a reason.......they are experts and my wife and I are extremely satisfied we found and worked with Phelps Law.
