I was involved in an accident 12/2019 where I was sitting at a red light and was hit twice from behind. I was told to give Negrete law firm a call from the chiropractor I was referred to after the accident. I was told it’ll take anywhere from 6-16 months to complete. The company does not communicate with its clients as I had to go to the office multiple times to get updates because the attorney was either on vacation or not in the office per the words of the staff. My file transferred hands at least twice to my knowledge. I have been calling for updates regularly because no one communicates. I did a Yelp review then a response of concern popped up and after that point nothing. I continued to contact the office for updates. I was told that now it has been turned over to the litigation team for review to see if they will take the case or not and I was told that back in February and the attorney would contact me back in a couple days and never does so! The medical bills are my main concern! I did nothing to cause an accident and that persons insurance which is my same insurance should foot those bills but this law office can’t make that happen some how. What a crock!!

I hate leaving such a bad review but I’ve had such a hard time with communication. ... months will go by with no update . I have to call for updates which I don’t mind but It’s been 15 + months and when I called today no one could even find my file about my case .

I’m glad others have had good experiences here. I also take in to account that my case had added layers as my accident occurred in Arizona, but I live out of state. This is why communication and follow up was paramount. As one other reviewer mentioned, all communication was initiated by me. Plus, the person handling my case constantly changed. When I did get ahold of that person, I’d get brief and vague answers. I thought attorneys were supposed to be the ones asking probing questions, but that was left up to me. No updates. No follow up. They get an extra star because of Julio (Prosecuting attorney...?). At one point my case was referred to him (after I had to ask them multiple times to forward him the information). I learned more in one 20 minute phone call with Julio than in all of my interactions with the firm. Mind you, this has nothing to do with the results of my case. I’m not sure if mine fell into the category of a low priority case, but that’s how I came away feeling.

Mr. Martinez was a pleasure to work with. He represented me with my family court. From the beginning to the end, he stuck by my side. He made sure I got everything I deserved. My ex-husband was not paying me what he owed and I hired Jose to help me collect.
