Awesome guy straightforward no BS will recommend to friends and family

My experience with David was easy and David is extremely hands on! There was never one moment where I was not in the know. I would highly recommend David Black and I would absolutely call upon him again.

Me and my husband were very lucky to have attorney like Mr. David Black. He was very professional and informative. We are out of State and did not know where to start. Mr. Black explained me and my husband the case thoroughly and advised us honestly of what our options were. He was very efficient and knowledgeable of the case and stayed in touch at all times. Our case was complicated but the result was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend David to anyone who is looking for an outstanding attorney.

I spoke to Timea R. Hargesheimer about coming in for a consult. She began by asking me about my situations (I have two separate issues for which I need council). I tried to start explaining the history of my case, and was interrupted with, "Never mind. That's all in the past. We can't do anything about that , so why don't we just focus on now." I asked about the retainer, at which point she stated for the first case would be $4500, and for the second case $5000. When I asked her why it was so high, she told me, "Because we have 70 years of experience and you get what you pay for. We are the best." I told her I would not at this time be able to cover $9500, at which point she changed her tune and told me that I would need to come in for the consult because it could be up to $9500, but that it would be up to the attorney I spoke with if (s)he charged both retainers, or less. I told her ok, I would do the consult. She then went off on a tangent and started speaking to me about legal aid resources, saying she could give me some numbers if I wished. I told her I did not want to go that route, at which point she stated that she wasn't exactly sure what I expected her to say then. I told her I expected that we would schedule the consult and she began to argue with me about whether or not I said I would go ahead with the consult. Shortly after hanging up with her, I received another call, this time from a man named either Andrew or Anthony. He stated that since I had been on the phone with Timea for 20 mins, he just wanted to know if there were any other questions he could answer. ??? (I'm thinking in my head, so does that mean I get 10 mins on the phone with you and that's my consult?) I told him no and that I had already had a less than pleasant conversation with Timea and I had not been impressed with her. He again asked about my cases, and after a brief and again rather tense and argumentative conversation, told me that I didn't have a good enough reason to pursue the action I was requesting. (Maybe if he had stopped to listen and learn about the previous case, he would have thought differently.) Overall, both attorneys I spoke with were arrogant, brusque, indifferent, uninterested, apathetic and condescending. If you're looking for an attorney who is actually interested and caring, DO NOT hire the Cantor Law Group.

My experience with the law offices of David A. Black have been wonderful. I had a bogus case in which I was being accused of something I didn't even have anything to do with and Mr. Black has been there for us the whole time. The communication and integrity of the law firm is above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this law firm to anyone who needs help fighting a case with diligence and affordability.

I called him after an arrest for DUI, it was a Saturday noon after I spent the night at jail. He himself picked up the phone, we discussed the details of the case and arranged a face-to-face meeting on Sunday to further provide information and discuss the details. As a professional I had some public duties for my job license and this arrest could potentially ruin my career. He took care of both side of the case. This case lasted about one year, we pleaded not guilty and he was on top of all minute aspects of the case. He has been always available, updating me with immediate text messages, answering my numerous questions. It was my first encounter with law enforcement ever, so I did not understand the legal implications of charges, technical words and letters. He spent tremendous amount of time to explain all the details in layman terms. Moreover his behavior was more than a lawyer defending your case, his pleasant personality and friendly manners made me comfortable that the case is being handled by someone like a family member. He always kept in mind my interests, addressed my anxiety regarding next steps dealing with prosecutors and always provided sound and frank advice. He confidently interviewed the arresting officers, fought to the last for my case, and finally won the case. He frankly did not promise success, but promised to push as hard as legally possible. As I understood later there should be tens of procedures and paperwork to be filled 100% correctly to be condemned in a court and only an astute attorney can examine and verify them all. He is an aggressive, though logical attorney. The one you need his number in your cellphone. His number is saved in all my friends' phones just in case. This would be true even I had lost the case: a caring and aggressive brother.

Odds were stacked against me, yet despite circumstances, fact remained I was wrongfully accused and trial was my only option. Then, I was blessed, I made contact with David and hired him there shortly after. No joke, it took a matter of weeks and my fears of losing my twenties(minimum, plea sat stern at 5-9years, 7.5 presumptive) was put at ease. The outcome was beyond what I saw to be possible prior to connecting with David, class 4 dropped, prison no longer on the table. For obvious reasons, I hired him for my future cases and he continuously obtains an outcome beyond my expectations. I was recently represented by David Black. He was extremely helpful and I was very satisfied with his representation of my case in court as well as the outcome. He is fully trustworthy, answered all my questions to my satisfaction and is responsiveness was always quick. I can't thank him enough!!!! :)

David Black, name says it all. First name David like the Magician is magic. And well his last name, well you know Black just sounds like someone you don't want to deal with. Seriously, though. I needed a defense lawyer and it doesn't really matter for what. the deal was I shop online, commercials, made lots of phone calls to attorneys that where from big firm to small, lots. David was the most honest one out there when it came to the money part of hiring him. And was willing to work with me with when it came to that part. Was always easy to deal with and his staff Laura, Steve and Bill were awesome in helping me through this time. And back to the honest part. David got my case dismissed, could have charged me more money to finish my case, but did not. I pray none of us need David. But if for some reason you do. GO WITH David Black! Chad Russell
