If you get in trouble with the law, this is the Attorney that will absolutely fight to the death for you - if need be. Aggressive, fair and honest to the bone when it comes to trusting someone with your freedom. She won't make false or misleading promises just to make you feel better, and believe me when the chips were down and I was looking at 15 years, she brought it down to three -- I was guilty as hell, on the run, and had various warrants pending in three different counties, thought I was done, toasted and roasted. Had one of my family members call Sonja, she was there the next day and had all my bail money returned from all three counties and gladly accepted the three years. Prior to that she had represented me in several other cases and I've recommended her to several friends and friends of those friends and took her advice -- "quit being a dummy and enjoy your life a free man without the hassle of the courts looming and dooming your future." That was back in the year 2000, and I still call her from time to time for advice for others; she's more than happy to help without having to give her a retainer before she speaks...luv that Attorney!!

Sonja represented a close friend of mine recently on a criminal case, and, being a close friend of the defendant, I was regularly involved throughout the entire proceedings. The defendant had had a history of multiple felonies and two prior incarcerations. Through Sonja's diligent efforts, she was able to negotiate an unusually favorable plea that called for a minimal sentence when all factors were considered. And while obviously no one can guarantee an outcome for any particular case, Sonja's efforts were clearly key to achieving this resolution. Sonja is a fighter.
