I contacted Jay Hall of Hall Underwood for a civil litigation matter; I was searching for an attorney and when I emailed for general information, Jay Hall, (Managing Parner of Hall Underwood PLLC) got back to me by email within an hour, on a Sunday evening.
Within 18 hours I was speaking one on one with Jay Hall, not a paralegal, and he was offering advice on what to do in my particular situation before I hired him.
I have had almost unadulterated access to my attorney directly via call, email and text, without being charged for every text, call and email.
I have in the past had bad experiences with every lawyer I have encountered, from other civil litigators to county attorneys with poor results.
Jay Hall has redefined my definition of what a GOOD attorney REALLY IS; he is aggressive, straight forward and will not draw clients in with false promises of success and results.
You owe it to yourself to contact Hall Underwood in the event you need an attorney.

I cannot begin to say enough great things about Hall Underwood. Their family law attorneys and way of doing things will have you pleasantly surprised. After dealing with Jay & Emi for only a few days, I knew I was getting top-notch legal service. Their fees are affordable, and their attention to detail far exceeds anyone I have ever dealt with in the past. No need to look elsewhere as far as I am concerned.

I have never had to deal with any lawyers in the past and I really wasn't looking forward to doing so. When I met Erena I knew immediately she was going to be the right person to help me. She made it easy to communicate and was always available to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is in need of an immigration lawyer.

Over the previous 20 years I have contacted many Immigration Lawyers.. I have received very bad advice from some, been put through unnecessary worry due to lack of communication with others, I even had one lawyer who just up-and disappeared on me for three months, a situation which delayed my ability to become documented for Years.
It is fair to say that I had lost my ability to trust lawyers in Erena’s particular field, but I also Knew that I Needed a Good Lawyer to make sure that I didn’t mess up the paperwork to any degree, and that I had a Good Lawyer in my corner to fight for me if things went pear-shaped – and to ensure the best chance to gain status.
After my first meeting with Erena I knew that if anyone could represent me, It was this lady.. Erena listened intently to what I had to say, and gave me a clear and honest assessment of my case. She actually seemed interested in many of the smaller details other lawyers just talked over as I was explaining them. This was important to me as I knew that no mistake would occur, due to my legal representative not caring enough about the details of my particular case.
The biggest thing I found different with Erena over the many other lawyers which I had contacted in the past, was that Erena seemed very much to care about me as a “person”, she seemed to care about the situation I was in, and she made me feel comfortable in the fact that here was somebody, who had the skill-set, and the desire to see my case though to the end.. ”I’ll fight this to the 9th circuit if I have to” as I remember her putting it.
The process. After we retained Erena, she filled out my immigration applications based on an easy to fill out questionnaire that she forwarded to me, along with a list of documents that I would need to have in hand before the interview with Immigration Services. Erena then had myself and my wife come down to her office to go over the forms she had filled out to read and sign them before sending off the applications.. At this meeting she again reiterated that I shouldn’t worry too much, and that we shouldn’t experience any problems.. With a wife and 2 kids on the line I was worried.. Still.. Erena did her best to set my mind at ease (treated me like a person) which was very much appreciated. Once the applications were mailed to Immigration Services there were no issues – the paperwork submitted flew through the system, temporary work permit came In the mail etc.
A few weeks before our scheduled interview with Immigration Services, Erena had us come down to her office to prepare us for our meeting – and also to review the documentation that we needed to take with us, and again offer me with as much help and assistance in answering the many questions I had and to which I needed answers, to feel confident going forward.
Interview day.. Wow! Erena is fighter.. I was asked questions by the Immigration officer and even stumbled a little due to being so nervous reciting my address.. Erena – right there.. In fact - Any time I slipped Erena immediately jumped in to smooth over any possible misinterpretations with the immigration officer. I never felt alone, I never felt isolated or Intimidated, I very much doubt that she would ever allow that to happen.
I knew that immigration interviews can take between 5 minutes and 4 hours.. If I was in that room for 15 minutes I may be guilty of exaggeration. I left with legal status and a smile.
In closing.. Erena did a Great Job, she’s “regular people”, friendly, and treats you like a person. She is exceptionally knowledgeable regarding her area of practice, and will definitely be in your corner if you should retain her.. If in doubt, give her a call, explain your situation, and just listen to what she says. If Erena says not to worry. Save yourself the anxiety. I have every confidence that she’ll take care of all your legal issues in the same prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional manner as she did for us.
