Over the years my husband and I had made efforts to put a trust together. We had met with attorneys on a couple of occasions and began what seemed like an insurmountable list of work. We were never really educated on estate planning, and never were we completely satisfied with what had been accomplished. As more years rolled by, it became clear to both of us that we needed to put our affairs in order so that if we were to pass, there would not be undue burden on our children. We had seen first hand the workings of a trust that was handled by Shawn Garner for a family member who had passed and it couldn't have been a better experience under the circumstances. We then attended a free seminar that Deason Garner Law Firm puts on, and it was the best education on estate planning that we had ever heard. They were very professional and there was no pressure from them, but we both felt that we needed to make the decision to use them and the services they provided. We attended a free estate planning seminar at Deason Garner Law Firm. After Shawn's presentation, we realized how little we knew of the big picture behind having a well-planned and executed Living Trust. Although the fee for the service startled us at first, when we sat down and reviewed everything that would be covered in the Living Trust, including medical directives and funeral arrangements, we decided it was the right thing to do for ourselves and our family.
