The Gean I met was dismissive towards me and vaguely threatening towards my husband. We were letting the Gene( not sure which one he was) that our paid representative ,Mr Pierce, was not fulfilling his contractual obligations in my husband's case. Not showing up for court hearings, not trying to get a decent plea- throwing first offer like it is the best (& only) option. Public Pretenders have gotten sweeter plea agreements for murders.... Anyway after speaking to the state bar and his boss man - Michael Pierce did get a okay deal. But he didn't show up on our behalf- twice resulting in FTA warrants being issued. Can't be bothered to make the apologies for a covid self quarantine or a death in the immediate family ( yes we had documentation and gave plenty of notice both times that we needed to reschedule) but I guess he had better things to do than appear on Chris's behalf. I mean he had no issues taking payment to be the lawyer, but doing the actual job? Eh, why fight for a client? He already got paid. He left Chris in jail on first FTA for some 40 days & didn't even stay for the court appearance at that time. Dropped off some paperwork dated 2 yrs ago and left before Chris went in front of judge. Wow.

Mr David Gene is a very good person and attorney! He has always been there when I needed him with awesome results always . He is always professional and caring. Plus not ask for a better person and attorneys

Worst lawyer in fort Smith ( Michael Pierce ) took my case to court after 3 months of paying took 2500 cash that I'd work hard for the day we show up to court he told me he didn't have a case and he looked high every single time I seen him and sick at court like he had been hungover he the biggest joke and con artist I. Although I originally chose Gean & Gean based upon their excellent reputation within the Fort Smith community, the attorney assigned to my case was extremely difficult to reach, multiple emails and calls were made before any reciprocity of communication was achieved. My attorney grossly misinformed me regarding the course of action I should take in my case, and completely unprepared when the case went to trial. I would highly recommend choosing another litigator.

There are not enough words to thank David Gean for the excellent work he did for our family, in obtaining an Emergency Custody Order for the father of an infant family member, in a paternity case. David was consistently prompt in communicating (even surprising me by responding to emails late at night, when I certainly did not expect it), and his communication was warm, honest, and direct. David acted quickly and efficiently regarding court filings, communications, scheduling, etc. He did not make false promises, but he was absolutely remarkable in achieving exactly what we had hoped for (beyond what I thought was actually possible). Overall, David seemed to truly care about the child involved, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. David is truly a fantastic attorney. Rushed case & rarely contacted us. Waited last minute to inform us. & didnt seem to care about the case after payment was received

Didn't fight for my husband and still isnt! Letting my husbands ex have EVERYTHING she has asked for so BASICALLY giving my husbands ex her way when she has went to court twice now telling nothing but lies this lawyer REFUSES to hear the truth! Hes HORRIBLE! Talk about money down the drain!
