I used Katje Law Group this past year for a tenant move out and eviction. Not only were they very kind but from the beginning they were extremely responsive, and they had very clear communication. They were very helpful especially Amanda, who is the Paralegal and our Attorney Melissa. They put so much time and effort into our case, and guided us every step of the way, and answered the numerous questions we had since it was all new to us. We felt at ease knowing we had this law group on our side. We truly could not have gotten through this without them, I would highly recommend them and use them again if needed!

Already spoke with two attorneys and both vehemently disagreed with your assessment of insurance matters. To quote one attorney: "I disagree with your prior attorney. I think there is liability on the part of ***, **** and the HOA. The case against *** and *** is very clear cut (I expect their insurers will ultimately pay each of the homeowners for their losses). " The lack of attention and professionalism is striking when you consider the following: I specifically wrote to ARAG (my legal insurance) that I needed assistance with insurance claims and HOA matters. You expressed interest in discussing the case further. We signed a retainer. You drafted a demand letter with various missing critical things like dollar amount asked, etc. I raised the need to address insurance matters yet again with you once I realized you were not moving on that front. The particular attorney assigned to me said they were not experienced in that regard, and would check with a law group partner. I noted repeatedly I wanted a full and fair assessment that wouldn't be dependent on ARAG prices. I was happy to pay outside their fee reimbursement schedule. If you had listened to the above points carefully, engaged them, thought them through with me, this would have gone differently (assuming someone in that office is capable in the areas of need). You provided an incomplete job, collected insurance payments, all at the cost of someone who is already going through great stress. This should not happen in the hands of an attorney one employs. You should not take up cases if you are unable to fully hear your clients and actively engage with the variables you are presented. It seems you had tunnel vision and only saw ARAG despite my statements asking you to look beyond and noting I would be willing to pay if it made sense to move forward. Instead, you made statements concerning the value of litigation when you had failed to hear so many of the things I had told you.

Ms Katje was professional, courteous, and thorough. If I need further real estate law expertise I will definitely reach out to her again.

I was a client of Edna Fok, Esq. for a small claims case. She is a nice woman and this not personal. Per her legal advice, the law was “clear cut” and the judge had not choice but to follow the law, etc. She did research, requested a notarized letter, prepare documents, etc. all for a loss, including on appeal. What is terrible is the amount of my money and time wasted for this. She went from being confident to not being so sure. I heard excuses shortly after, all while her firm was persisting on collecting money for the work done that amounted to a loss. I would ‘t feel bad about the money if I won a judgment. But I was left worse off before a I started. I am upset about this. I blame Edna because I acted based on her legal advice that I was paying for. I should have done my own research on the success rate of Edna before I became the practice that will hopefully improve her as an attorney in the future. Unfortunately, her lesson was at my expense. I would never use this firm again. It is overpriced and apparently lacks success in winning cases. Find a firm with extensive experience and confident lawyers.

WOW I cannot say enough about Katie law group, September and Edna fok and full team, we came too her with a huge problem stressful awful situation that needed her help asap, she seen us next day , my husband and i are 73yrs and 76yrs old we had an old friend, offer to help us with home loan ,and we found out he put his name on our home, removed our names fraudently then he tried too evict us and my family . they did such a wonderful job finding out what a bad man he was and illegal companies he owned we won our home back and Judge through book at him and we received a judgement against him thx to Edna Fok, who went to court with us, she is wonderful,, my whole family love them very much for all there hard work saving our home of 33yrs, thank you September, Edna and all the team that helped and kept me updated constantly,alot of work !! wow what a great job they did, I could go on but I hope people will call them for help you will love there kindness and hard work they offer to help your situation ,thank you for getting us back our home ,Robert and Maureen Harrold
