I needed a law firm that could understand the sensitive nature of a family money matter. Katje Law Group did a great job in providing guidance and understanding of the matter. Their recommendations were based on my specific situation. Everyone at the practice was very supportive. Their help guided it to the appropriate conclusion and could not have done it without them.

i provided plenty of information to the receptionist. She didnt really understand my need and put me on hold for 10 min and Kept pressing me for confidential info even when I mentioned I can only share with an attorney and insisted on qualifying me even though i had given all the info i could comfortably give to someone who isnt bound by the confidentiality. Receptionist had no sense of service or business development for their firm and wouldn’t pass me through to anyone. firm is unapologetic about losing customers and acts like its your loss when if fact its the business that suffers. Don’t waste your time calling here.

I am a commercial land owner in Anaheim. We sold the property in January 2021 and with delays with COVID and the City of Anaheim the buyer kept delaying the close. We were finally given the closing date and per the purchase agreement we had to have all of the tenants out. They were all given 90 days notice but they were on month to month leases. The week before the move out date, one of the tenants tells me not only is he not leaving, but he says he has spoken to the other 4 tenants and trying to get them to stay as well. I went to google and called 4 law firms that specialize in evictions. Not only was the Katje Law Group the ONLY ONE, that responded, they did so within 15 minutes of my initial call. The paralegal, Amanda Garcia, I dealt with was fantastic and very organized. What impressed me the most was the head attorney and owner of the firm, September Katje, was on a personal family vacation and still set aside time to go over my situation on the phone. We were able to get the problem tenants out and this would not have happened without the help of Katje Law Group. They were fantastic!!!

I contacted them based on their awesome reviews, had a consult, set a plan, and they did a complete 180 after they received my money. Everything that was stated during the consult and the plan we set up, was no longer the case afterwards. The front desk person/paralegal was no help, unresponsive, Leaving me with a ton of unresolved issues. During my consult the lawyer stated we would serve our tenants with a 60 day notice, and I had planned on having them serve the paperwork with a rush order in 24 hours, after four days I believe, I still hadn't heard from them and they finally contacted me saying they wouldn't work with me. I wasted my money on a consult and got extremely happy and was satisfied with my consult until the team had decided to 180 on my consult. I most definitely do not have the wrong firm. I know who I paid my money out too and who I delt with for two weeks. I have plenty of emails back and forth between Keyra long, and Laura Dassori.

I contacted Katje Law Group to hep me with a tenant situation I was in where my son and I were threatened and harassed by an aggressive neighbor and thus had to leave prior to lease ending for our safety. The property management refused to work with me in any way, despite having provided them with ample documentation. Katje Law Group listened to me and worked with me from start to finish, but also was always very conscientious of my bill. Anything that the paralegal could do they had her do which saved me so much money and she was great!! I want to give a special thank you to Keyra. She was so professional, kind, and efficient. I was shocked with what a difference hiring Katje Law Group made! My case was resolved swiftly and favorably after hiring them. Such a relief!!

Wish we could give ZERO STARS. Very concerning business and communication practices at this office. Not properly assessing our case to see if they wish to accept our case or not, handling all case assessments via the paralegal and not the attorney, providing us with misleading information, and changing their story about legal representation after the RETAINER agreement was signed, are only some of the reasons why this legal office wasted our time unnecessarily and hence prevented us from getting a timely revision of our existing Revocable trust and Will. This matter is highly concerning during a pandemic and it raises serious red flags about this legal office and the kind of legal representation they offer their clients. The most concerning aspect is the fact that a one hour appointment with the attorney was set up prior to signing the Retainer Agreement, however their story changed AFTER the retainer was signed, and now they are only offering 30min. Our two cases are covered by ARAG legal insurance at a flat fee, so the least time they offer to clients, the more $$$$ they make. However this should have been communicated transparently before signing the retainer, rather than changing stories afterwards. Initially the paralegal Tiffany Balthasares, who runs the legal cases for their office, told us that they can only give us 30 min with the attorney because the appointment was in the afternoon and the attorney has personal business then (taking care of her kids), so we wrote back saying we would gladly accommodate the attorney's schedule by meeting with her whenever she had time to hold the meeting, and we were ready and willing to take time off from work during morning hours just to accommodate their schedule. Then the paralegal gave us a morning appointment for Monday 01/11/21 however refused to tell us how long the appointment was (?!?!). The paralegal with bad attitude then told that this was a "follow up" appointment with the attorney and that's why it was only 30 min. When we politely clarified that this was our FIRST appointment with the attorney, and NOT a follow up appointment, and that she may have us confused with someone else, they notified us abruptly that they were dropping our case, obviously IN RETALIATION. Sadly, they appear to spend more time responding to negative reviews on Yelp than offering their clients the appropriate customer service. The response they posted below is inaccurate - we have documentation of our correspondence with their office where we are offering to meet with the attorney at any time just to accommodate their schedule. Deeply concerning. Stay away from this office before they treat you and your case like they treated us, with utter disrespect and lack of professionalism.

Katje Law Group recently assisted my husband and I with a residential home purchase that was part of a trust with several parties involved. Ms. Katje and her team were competent, responsive and a just pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Real Estate Attorney.
