Matt was not only knowledgable about our trust but he was patient and explained our options and the impact they would have in a way that was easy to digest and understand. We have a somewhat complicated situation and it would've been difficult to make the hard decisions without his guidance. I highly recommend Matt Shafae for any trust needs.

Responsive, professional and personable! I contacted Matt about a future need and he uncovered an issue with our present trust that would have cost me a large amount of $ and financial and personal security. He cleared his commitments to expedite the changes. He not only met his commitment, he was able to provide me with a draft to review in advance of our signature. A family member who is a lawyer in another state reviewed the draft and said "The document is quite extensive. That he got it done so quickly, I'm impressed!" He also gave me some beneficial tips and advice outside the scope of this project. I will definitely be contacting him for other estate, will and trust work.

Matt is not the first estate lawyer I've worked with, but he is definitely the best. I can't say enough here. We consulted Matt Shafae to help us update our quite old estate plan. In just a single free consultation, he went through all the important details of our current plan, and helped us see that that our plan was still in great shape. He easily could have sold us services we didn't need -- we were ready to pay for some; instead, his honesty, patience, and clarity helped us determine what we might optionally change, including nothing. And if that weren't enough, he advised us on how best to use what we have in place on our own, given some changes in our lives over the past years. I'm writing this in large part because I must in _some_ way reward this level of integrity and knowledge. This is a person who cares about the well being of his potential clients, even if it means they won't become clients. What a rarity!
