This was my first accident where I had to hire a lawyer and I didn’t know what I was doing or getting into Shawn and his team made sure to explain everything in amazing detail. He was responsive when ever I had any questions (and I had A LOT) come up through out the whole process and made me feel like I was in good hands. At times I felt very needy with my questions but he would always re assure me that I wasn’t being that way! Thank you Shawn and your team for taking care of me!!

Please stay away from this firm. My mom had a car accident, decided to find a lawyer and was directed to Makkabi Law through Los Defensores. First three days they were on top of everything, then one day her representative was changed, no explanation and just excuses as to why that would happen after she had taken the case. It has been a week and every time she calls everyone is always busy, no one returns her calls, and communication between staff in nonexistent. At one point, her insurance representative called from the same number at Makkabi Law and after she realized both her attorney and insurance company were working together, they changed their number and never called her back.

I try calling about my case and everyone is always busy, at a meeting, or at lunch. They are never there. And they keep changing the people over and over again, rotating my case between people. The communication in this establishment is not professional and they are constantly playing games. EDIT: They did finally close my case and get an answer it just took a really, really long time.

Amazing law firm. Very hard working staff who leads you through every step of the process so that you do not feel alone. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an attorney.

This has been the most stressful and frustrating experience EVER. Communication with the staff is absolutely the worst. And they don't communicate with each other about the conversations we've had and fail to document conversations in the case comments which makes everything that much worse. I was advised I would receive the settlement check in about two (2) weeks of signing... it has been over three (3) months and I'm still waiting along with all these additional fees they charge at the end without you being aware of it. BEWARE!!!

I went to Beverly Hill Injury Firm after I was rear-ended. It was my first time hiring a lawyer after a car accident and I am so pleased that I did. Six weeks after being rear-ended I was hit by a car while riding my bike. Having 2 accidents so close together made it more complicated legally, but my lawyer navigated it expertly. He was very knowledgeable and competent. He kept me informed, gave me realistic time-frames, and was straightforward and honest with me. He showed me tons of personal attention. I really felt like he was fighting hard for me. I was very pleased with the end result. He is more than worth his fee.
