I needed legal advice on a lease contract and got a thorough, professional appraisal of the document in less than 24 hours! Based on the advice I am not glad I did not pursue the lease. I will go back to Hillary Johns for any future legal needs, without hesitation.

After 10 years working in the modeling/entertainment industry in Los Angeles, last year I found myself in a pretty serious client nonpayment situation. I wasted months trying to let my agency handle it, and then another six months getting the run around from their accounting department when I tried to negotiate a payment schedule with them directly. It wasn’t until I found a Roger Muse and Excelsior Law that I finally felt like I had someone in my corner! Roger is so knowledgeable about the entertainment and modeling industries specifically, and knew exactly what to do in my circumstance (four months of unpaid wages!) to get this client to change their tune. After a year getting nowhere on my own, Roger had a check on my desk within 6 months! He got me every penny I was owed! There aren't enough stars and praise I can give to Chloe! I went through 5 different attorneys before I found her and I am so grateful that I did. What started out as a cooperative co-parenting situation after my divorce, quickly turned contentious, stressful and ugly when my ex-husband remarried. Although having been divorced for a few years already, my ex began going through our parenting plan and challenging almost everything. I was feeling overwhelmed, helpless and scared for my kids and I's future until I hired Chloe. Chloe handled my extremely complicated and delicate situation with confidence and kindness. There is a lot of gray area in my parenting plan unfortunately, which left me very vulnerable. I was being bombarded with threatening emails, texts, accusations and demands from my ex and his wife and was feeling completely overwhelmed and lost. In Chloe, I finally had an extremely bright, talented, hard working, persistent and fearless attorney who wasn't afraid to go up against anyone in court. Up until this point, I had not won a case before and was very nervous to go back to court. I soon found out that I had no reason to worry as Chloe was extremely prepared, confident and impressive in court, never backing down. Not only did I win my case, but I also got attorney fees awarded. I wish my legal battles were over, but I still have a long road ahead of me in dealing with my ex-husband. Fortunately, I have Chloe on my side and trust her to see me through every legal obstacle I will face in the future. Update 12/8/23: Andy Arakelian did such an excellent job for me 3 years ago when my child custody order was modified, that I’m back again for his services to modify the custody order, and to also address coparenting issues. Andy is very intelligent, level headed, responsive, and he listens to his client’s concerns. The letter that he prepared for me was the best letter that I’ve ever seen, it was well thought out and worded perfectly. You’re in good hands with Andy and the staff at Berenji & Associates, and once again I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a family law attorney. 2020 Review: I contacted Berenji & Associates for legal advice regarding a modification to my child custody order. After meeting with both Mr. Berenji and Mr. Arakelian (Andy), I found both of them to be very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I’ve been through divorce and know how stressful and difficult it can be to find an attorney that looks out for your best interests. We would highly recommend Chloe Nichol. I was a client of Chloe through Stella and Pitts Law Firm. She is very detailed oriented/ thorough and does not miss a beat with a single thing.
