I can’t say enough about how much Emily helped me through my divorce. I was married for over 25 years and was terrified about what would happen to my house, my retirement, etc. She was a calming force during this process which gave me great peace of mind. She explained to me exactly what I was entitled to and answered all my questions. She really knows the law and I felt a lot better each time I talked to her. Divorce is an expensive process but she advised me on ways to keep my billable hours down which I really appreciated. Although her job is to get the best settlement for her clients, she listened to what I wanted and helped me go through my divorce with dignity and in a way I felt proud of. In the end I got much more than I thought I would thanks to Emily. She is tough, but she won’t make your compromise your principles to get what you want.
