One of the best decisions I've ever made was hiring Mr. Karabian to represent me for my criminal case. I spoke to many different lawyers before making my decision. Without hearing any of the details or context, most advised me to plead guilty and they would handle processing the paperwork, for a fee. My first call with Mr. Karabian was a completely different experience. I knew within the first 30 seconds of speaking with Ben that he was thorough, attentive, pragmatic and sincere. Before advising me at all, he took the time to learn all the details of the situation and laid out a few different options each with their own realistic expectations. When I hung up the phone after that first call I felt at ease and confident that I was in the right hands. Over the course of the next year or so I did not once feel out of the loop, overwhelmed or outmatched. He ultimately advised fighting the case at least up through a motion to suppress and taking it from there. He and his expert resources identified 4 different problems with the DA’s case and went to work setting us up for the best chance of success. He walked me through the entire strategy and thoroughly prepared me for the hearing. He brought on an amazing expert whose testimony unequivocally proved I was subject to undue harm. The expert was just as diligent as Mr. Karabian and just as knowledgeable in his field of expertise as he was in case law. The day of the hearing we went in there with the expectation we’d leverage our 4 arguments to get a reduced deal from the DA. The DA did not budge at all over the course of the two day hearing, despite the clear violations to my rights. When the judge gave her ruling, we’d won on the majority of our issues. Any one of which should mean the evidence could not be used during a trial. She ultimately ruled that everything after the first 5 mins of the arrest would need to be suppressed. The DA soon after dropped the case. Mr. Karabian also got the arrest sealed. The whole Justice system is designed to make you feel outmatched and alone. With Ben Karabian you are not only leveling the playing field, you are gaining the upper hand. I am not overstating when I say I had complete peace of mind throughout the entire year and half process. Even if the judge had ruled differently, having Ben Karabian in my corner eliminated my stress and gave me the peace of mind to sleep at night. This alone was absolutely worth the cost. You can trust that you're going to get honest guidance and that you're bringing a howitzer to a knife fight. Ben Karabian is amazing. Honestly, I will be calling him for everything moving forward. He got me out of a very stressful situation in my apartment complex where a neighbor was harassing me and then flipped the script saying I harassed her.
