I was injured when someone rear-ended me on the freeway. After trying for a whole year to deal with the other person's insurance company, I threw up my hands and decided to hire an attorney. I only wish I had done it much sooner. I was trying to settle with the insurance company for a measly $3000, and they balked at that. Rich took over and things started falling into place. He was so supportive during the deposition phase, which, even if you think you're prepared, is still unnerving. We settled with the insurance company for a six-figure sum, which is more than I ever imagined was possible. Rich is thorough and very personable. His office staff are professional and friendly. If I needed a personal injury attorney again (God forbid!), I'd call him in a heartbeat. I honestly can't recommend him highly enough.

I got into a very bad motorcycle accident where a car swerve into my path causing the accident when I was sharing lanes (some call splitting lanes). A few different law firms attempted to work on my case but failed miserably because 1/ There is a very fine line for lane sharing, and 2/ They did not have the experience to push the case. I was in a bad motorcycle accident and lost my leg, he Paul Caputo himself, came to my bed side when I was in the hospital Stanford medical Palo Alto CA. This man rolled up his sleeves and assistant in my care, what Law firm does that. Mr. Caputo and his amazing team and staff made me feel as if I was family, they left no stone unturned to assure Justice was handed out and that I was compensated for my damages. Paul Van Der Walde and his staff were the epitome of professionalism and caring, a combination rare in any field. I wanted to wait until I was done with PT and the final surgery before proceeding with the case, and they were kind enough to comply. I cannot say enough good about them.
