Mark Tseselsky served family court documents infront of my 8 and 4 year old. This was done after i emailed him times and days I can be served as well as after he send email saying that he didn't want to do that as its not good 4 kids. If you need attorney who just doesn't care about kids its just a case this is a special attorney. Wish i could go negative here doesn't deserve this 1 star

My only experience with lawyers has been dealing with a bitter custody battle over my son,
So needless to say I hate all lawyers. I still hate all lawyers, but of all the lawyers I have dealt with this matter in multiple post judgement modifications, I hate Mark Tseselsky the least. I hired him to help me with transferring foreign judgment to California and two post-judgment modifications of custody and visitation orders. He is very conservative about his billing and tries very hard to get the best result. ..... So if you have to use a lawyer use Mark. Did I mention I hate lawyers. :-)

I have to say that in the midst of the crisis of my life Mark was amazing. He helped me to re-write my interpersonal operating system so that I could thrive in the nightmare of a lifetime. His counsel and approach was intellectual, solid and void of the kind od emotional drama that many, many family and dependency attorney's employ as litigious tactic that end up destroying your spirit and economic resources. I HIGHLY recommend Mark.

League of his own!!! 15 out of 5 stars!!!
Does NOT MAKE EMPTY PROMISES yet DELIVERS MIRACLES!!!!
After switching attorneys and doing mountains of research I could not have been better rewarded then finding Mark Tseselsky.
Child Protective Services is a niche system, not governed by familiar concepts such as "burden of proof" or "innocent until proven guilty". A mere anonymous allegation, misunderstanding or a possibility of risk is enough to forcibly remove a child from family. Time frame of reunification is between nine months to a year and a half. Mark Tseselsky has years of experience masterfully navigating children's court. Knowledge of psychology, deep understanding of how DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) functions, comprehension of cultural differences combined with years of experience is what sets mr. Tseselsky apart and creates a unique ally. Mark compassionately, free of judgement explains to the panicked family how the situation occurred and what steps are necessary to resolve it. CPS workers have their own "language". Mark Tseselsky patiently unveils hidden meaning's of seemingly innocent questions, repercussions of declining services that are presented as "volunteer" or "helpful", importance of testing, counseling, etc. Mark Tseselsky meticulously cipher's through family history, interviews, facts and accounts of what happened. Prepares the whole family. Guides each member on how to "speak" CPS. Foresees all detail's that are potentially harmful. Correcting overall demeanor including physical appearance, tone of voice, body language during interviews and court hearings. Moving on to caution against certain words and phrasing that may be twisted. Highlighting how to fine tune your home to very specific CPS expectations. What social worker looks for in a stocked refrigerator/kitchen cabinets, child's room, bed, bathroom, etc. My situation was particularly difficult, estranged from before birth biological father got involved and saw the child as an opportunity for a "meal ticket". Multiple high priced attorneys double and triple Marks retainer advised me to prepare for 3-5 years of legal battle. Predicting my case will be spread over multiple US states and both CPS and Family courts, not to mention a bill to fit that battle. Even though my son was sent out of state, Mark Tseselsky was able to keep the case in CA jurisdiction, prevent it from going to family court, keep the bill a fraction of what I was quoted by others and reunite me with my son in 5 months.
Thank you Mark for all your amazing work and being an integral part of keeping our family together!

Mark Tseselsky was recommended to me by a lawyer friend. Mark treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. He listened and advised based on my personal circumstance and desired outcome. He never tried to push me into a lengthy protracted legal fight, but prepared me for the eventuality. Not only was my case resolved harmoniously and quickly, his hourly billing was more than fair. I hope I don't have to retain a family lawyer again, but, if I do, it will be Mark Tseselsky.

Mark was incredibly helpful to us and helped us side step a lot of issues that would have otherwise proved both expensive and traumatic for ourselves and a child we were asked to foster. His involvement proved helpful not just to us but to the child and their parent. Having him step in made everyone in the system start playing by the rules that are supposed to govern how foster care issues are addressed and resolved.

A person who I believe is an attorney with this firm, Mr. Fuchs, called my personal cell phone, and after he identified himself, I heard the receiver hang up. I tried calling back (voice mail all three times) and found that this was the firm. He must have been calling from an inside line or his cell. When I found the phone number for the law firm (as opposed to Mr. Fuch's line) and called it, a male answered, and when I asked who he was, he refused initially to identify himself. What kind of a business is this?
Our household is grieving due to an impending death, and for them to be so rude, bodes very badly for the way that this law firm treats the general public. I would not touch this law firm with a ten-foot barge pole due to the rude manner in which they treat others.

Ms. Takagi represented my personal injury case last year and I'm glad I found her! A car hit me on my bike and I reached out to her personal injury firm, unsure of what steps to take. My bike was totaled and my arm broken. Ms. Takagi and her entire office were extremely helpful, patient and responsive with my husband and I, every step of the way.
She regularly checked on me during my recovery process and kept me up to date on status of the case and conversations with the other parties involved as well as their insurance company. My case wasn't too big but she treated me as if I was one of her only cases.
I've already recommended Ms. Takagi to friends should they ever need her assistance.

I am so glad I took the time to call the Law Office of Tawni Takagi! After I was in an accident in Los Angeles, I was overwhelmed and not sure what I needed to do. After calling their office, I was able to get the case started, and ultimately I was paid for damages and medical bills! The employees here are great and really care about you, will definitely use and recommend this office from now on.
