Pierre Domercq is an outstanding communicator. I was concerned with the developments of my case that was being handled by a hand-full of other attorneys and he listened to my involved legal ranglings and contacted my legal support and affirmed that my case was being handled properly. I mostly just wanted an outside 3rd party like Pierre to assure me that I was on the right track and he gave me that assurance. Thank you Pierre.

I very highly recommend Pierre Domercq and his team. They handled my case with a high degree of honest professionalism and attention to detail with as good of a result as could be expected in my case. Pierre has thorough knowledge of the law and he championed my case with determination and wisdom. Pierre has the rep as one of the best in San Diego. He is tenacious, direct, fair and clear. Divorce is an arcane process that takes a while to understand, with complex processes and lots of detailed work (all done while you're limited mentally by emotion). It requires experience and *effort* by the attorney and unfortunately I used several who were just plain lazy and did as much harm as good. It was a mistake not using Pierre from the beginning. Too many things were left open to interpretation, uncertainty and abuse. I should have started here.

I highly recommend Pierre Domercq. He has helped me twice with legal guidance. He is extremely personable, intelligent and dedicated to his clients. He has twice been able to steer me in a direction to avoid litigation. Not often you find and attorney with such ethics. Hopefully we never need his assistance again but if ever do, I know exactly where I would go. Also want to give a shout out to his very efficient, friendly and capable staff.

Erik Jenkins and April Hu did an excellent job of representing me in my child custody case. They were aggressive in their litigation with the petitioner and her counsel and made decisions that were in the best interests of my family and my child resulting in a 50/50 custody schedule. Previous judges and our mediator had made my path to extend visitation with my child very difficult and the representation I had had in the past was not the caliber that was necessary to see through the deceit of the petitioner and her attorney. Erik and April were able to navigate through the conflict and the result was increased time with my child. Everyone I interacted with in Erik’s office responded promptly to my questions and my concerns. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy practice that is highly knowledgeable of the law and will be committed to your needs.

We were facing a giant complaint and the Jenkins team helped us with a powerful and cost friendly defense plan that ended the lawsuit with a dismissal VERY early in the process! These things can be very stressful and damaging and Erik had the patience to keep us calm and confident! The entire Jenkins team was focused and professional and sharp and even occasionally light hearted when the moment was appropriate. This balanced constitution was both effective and comforting!

This is the second time that I have used Mr. Domercq. The first time was with spouse #2 and he created a successful outcome. The second time was a consultation regarding a divorce with spouse #3. Mr. Domercq is very personable, relatable and extremely knowledgeable. He also has a good sense of humor, but at the same time is very professional. He really listened to my situation and determined that for my particular case I didn't need to pay the expense of a lawyer of his caliber. He answered all of my questions and then gave me a recommendation to another attorney that would help with an inexpensive filing instead. I'm again impressed by Mr. Domercq. He assessed my particular situation (amicable divorce) and suggested what was best for me. At the end we discussed that I had a small credit with him from my previous case. He said that their firm had gone through two accounting systems since I had been there last, and asked how much the credit was for. I couldn't remember for sure, but it was an amount less than the consultation fee. He said that we would consider it even. What an awesome gesture. Because it was such a positive experience I asked if I could give him a hug before leaving. He said that he was a hugger and yes. I have worked with several other lawyers before finding Mr. Domercq, and I'm glad that I found him. He has fulfilled and exceeded my expectations.

I was referred to Burke & Domercq after using a different attorney who could not get the job done properly. They were finalize everything within a few months. I wish I had them in the first place. It would have several me thousands of dollars and frustration. Highly recommend them!
