Great personal service for all your legal needs

I'm offering some insights into my great experience working with Edwin "Ed" Schwartz, as the attorney representing me for a personal injury lawsuit in San Diego in which I was the plaintiff and won my case and was able to help me seek justice and get closure. He was empathetic and I appreciated that he listened to me and made me feel represented, not just a number. I am very happy with the work that Ed performed for me. From the moment I first spoke to him over the phone I felt that he presented himself as very confident person, he was knowledgeable about the options involved in my case, and he was clearly very passionate about law. I also appreciated that Ed is not afraid to go to trial if necessary, something that many lawyers don't have confidence doing but it was not a problem for Ed, he really showed his strengths in presentation skills, using logical arguments to defend my case points, and was calm under pressure. Ed was also very organized before the trial and he kept me up to date on developments. Ed is very methodical and he was very organized for my case having prepared several binders, exhibits of evidence, preparation documents, among other materials used to support and lead to a success in my case. I was also encouraged by Ed to prep for my trial and he was very thorough and patient with me so that I understood what was going to happen during the trial. I appreciated the time he spent on trial preparation and I felt confident to have his guidance before and during the trial. I also appreciate the fact that because I was working out of the country for a while I wasnt able to always meet in person, and Ed was flexible accommodating my phone calls or emails so that we could keep in touch about the case, despite me being abroad. In addition, I received positive feedback about Ed from the witnesses who knew me and they said they could see that Ed was a smart and prepared lawyer who carries himself well. I was happy with my winning case outcome and I would use Ed as my legal representation again without question and have already recommended him to my friends and family. You can tell that Ed is not in the practice of law just for a job - this is his passion and he demonstrates a high level of skill. I'm sure he will continue to be a top lawyer in his field of expertise.

I had Edwin as my lawyer for a personal injury case. I hadn’t really dealt with something like this before and I actually had a different lawyer I had hired who after almost a year into the case moved to a new law firm and couldn’t take all of her cases with her. She reccommended Edwin and after meeting him I could see why. He is very to the point, helped me through each step, and told me what to expect / not expect. My case in particular was hard because there was no police report originally filed- pretty much my word against the other involved. It was a long road there but the outcome of my case was exactly as I hoped. After we did have all the information and moved the the mediation he chose someone who quickly came to a settlement in 2 hours (maybe less) which I know can usually go on for half a day. After an unbelievably painless journey on a legal matter that concluded with our win after 13 months from being terminated by an ex-employer, I realized that you can have an attorney who is old soul, old school, new attitude and passion, and great communication skills. You probably have heard the concern, "do you want a surgeon who has great bedside manners but maybe not the best for the job? or a surgeon who is an excellent doctor and maybe can use some brushing up on manners; well, I got lucky and had the best of both, Ed was extremely communicative and also a tiger. In short, from beginning to end, Ed listened to me intently, gave me updates via phone or email, pushed the opposing party hard to settle, and wrapped the case up with a solid win. He even went outside the box and came up with additional strategy that tipped the case solidly in our favor early on. I highly suggest you just pick up the phone and call Edwin Schwartz.
