Jason Stone of Stone & Sallus LLP is not only a brilliant attorney, but also a great human being with enormous compassion and empathy for his clients and for "doing the right thing." Seven years ago I had a devastating situation where a partner entirely trusted by me and my family "stole" a valuable piece of property/house from me through real estate fraud. I tried everything I could to reason with him to be fair, put me back on the deed to the house, offered to sell the house and I would take a smaller percentage of the profits, etc., but he refused, left me within two hours moving all his belongings out of our bungalow, never to be heard of again. Through Jason's measured and expert patience and advice we "chased" him legally for eight months until we managed to corral the "thief" in an office with my lawyer (Jason) and his lawyer and negotiated in separate rooms for several hours wherein my former partner finally agreed to pay me a sum of money as damages for "taking" the house from me that we had previously owned jointly and equally. It was a painful incident in my life, but through Jason's diligence and expert litigation with the opposing attorney I was able to come out of it with some money and my pride in tact, for loss of a valuable property that had many memories of being there with my family and loved ones. Jason is a winner all the way and you cannot lose my hiring such a compassionate and brilliant attorney.
