When I found out that my son was being accused of a serious crime, I knew that I had to get the best attorney there is and quickly. I spoke with many attorneys. I felt that some didn't seem to want to listen or care about this situation. When I called Ms. Goodman's office I spoke with her assistant about the situation. She immediately called Ms. Goodman and told her of my son's situation. Ms. Goodman called within an hour while she was on vacation. My son and I spoke with her for a long time. She was very knowledgable, patient and caring. She listened to all our concerns and fears and answered all our questions. She was upfront and honest and told us that she would do everything she can and how she would defend my son. We retained her right then and there. After her talking with my son, I could see his relief in knowing that he was going be ok. She gave him hope and encouraged him to be strong. She told us many times not to worry that she would take care of everything and calmed our fears. As a parent I have contacted her all hours of the day even after hours and weekends. She would contact me very quickly. She had a very calming way of talking. She always kept us informed of what was happening, what is coming next and how she would handle it. During all of this she had continued to tell my son to keep working on his future and hold onto his dreams. She encouraged him to continue with his education. Then only after a few very stressful months we got a call from her that everything is over and that my son can go on with his life and dreams. Right after that my son graduated with honors from college with his masters. There are no words that can express how thankful we are. Thank you for encouraging my son not to give up.
