I researched and spoke to several attorneys before hiring Steve. I was on a time crunch and unable to meet him in person last minute. I decided to hire him because when we spoke on the phone, he was informative and flexible and understanding. There's a lot of guilt, confusion, and financial stress associated with any DUI case. All anyone can do is take responsibility for it and move forward. There is little information available out there for next steps. All I knew I had to do was schedule a DMV Admin hearing within 10 days, after that I was lost and immensely curious about what to do next. Having the right attorney will make this process as efficient and smooth as possible. Steve attended my arraignment in my place and schedule court dates accordingly so that it lines up with the driver's license restriction. The court and DMV operate as two different entities--if you do not align your court date efficiently, your license could be suspended for much longer than necessary. A DUI affects you long after you have your court date, complete the program, and get your license back. I learned how different informal probation terms are for each individual after hearing stories from other people in the DUI program. It all depends on your case and the attorney negotiating on your behalf. I've realized how valuable this is and Steve simply made this the most positive outcome possible. All the fees you have to pay are already extensive (court fee, DMV, SR22, etc.), but I highly recommend investing in an attorney like Steve to ensure your case is handled as best as possible. It is worth it.

This review is specific to Jeff Kent. Unfortunately, I had a couple mishaps over my lifetime, and in both instances, Jeff was there to aid me. Jeff is extremely professional, courteous and friendly. In both instances, Jeff made my dealings with the courts almost non-existent, dealt with my cases on my behalf and both times, came back with favorable outcomes. I can't speak highly enough about Jeff and the great job that he has done for me personally. He'll always be in my phone book for any mishaps in the future too (hoping I never have to call again though)! Thanks Jeff!!!

Jeff Kent was an awesome attorney. Not only did he appear in court on my behalf 9 times but was also successful in getting all my charges dismissed, keeping my dmv record clean, no increases in my insurance and fortunately I was able to keep my job. When his military career was in jeopardy.... When my minor son found himself in trouble with the law..... We were just beside ourselves with worry. We would have to go to Court, the charges seemed terrible, I was thinking of just riding it out with the Court, accepting whatever the Court was going to do. I have worked in a Court setting and Court was not unfamiliar to me...but this was my son's future. I had gone to school with Jeff Kent, I had known Jeff professionally, and always thought highly of him, not only as an individual but also as a professional. We called Jeff and from the first interview I was immediately relieved and I knew my son's future was in more than capable hands. Three court dates later, my son's case was dismissed. Jeff guided us through the Court process, gave us step by step instructions on what my son and his family would need to do. With some work on our part at the direction of our attorney and Jeff's skill and knowledge with the Juvenile Justice system my son's case, as of today July 15, 2013, is dismissed and his life is back on track.
