Quick summary of our opinion: Carey is an excellent Agent! We highly recommend him. I can not think of any flaws or weaknesses in the service he provided, to the contrary, he exceeded our expectations in many ways. Specifically, my wife inherited the house and the duties of Trustee when her Mother passed away. We live a thousand miles away. After a few weeks at the house cleaning and sorting personal items we were physically and emotionally drained. We investigated realtors with a focus on their success rate, experience and expertise in that local market. Carey stood out. I contacted him, briefed him on the situation. We wanted an opinion as to the value of the house but I made it clear We were not ready to list it until we explored options with another beneficiary. Carey Promptly researched the market value and provided a fairly comprehensive analysis and his opinion as to the value. We didn't actually hire him for a couple months after that while other issues were sorted. I want to stress this point about Carey-EXPERIENCE MATTERS! Character matters, attitude and diligence matter! Yes, probably all sellers want the most money we can get for the property but getting that done required work. Carey knew and hired crews to do painting, building repairs, extensive cleaning and removal of personal items. Choosing escrow, title companies, negotiating with buyer's realtor, responding to counter offers, riding herd on documents and compliance issues. He solved all those problems for us and was a genuinely pleasant fellow to work with at all times. I have to add that I don't think we ever waited more than a couple minutes to get a response from him whenever we called or texted a question to him. And oh yeah, the place sold before it was even listed for more than we had hoped to get for it! What more could you ask for in a realtor?

Carey got us the best price over what all other brokers suggested home will sell for. 1 open house and we ere in multiple offers and sold with 10 days. Carey is very professional, honest and a Gentleman. Highly recommend Carey Eckert for all real estate matters. Thank you Carey.

Carey was selling my mother’s home because, at 93 years old, she had decided, she was ready to move into an independent living situation within a senior facility. Though she saw herself as ready for this move, she never foresaw the impact this move would have on her. For the first time in her life , she was forced to choose which of her belongings she would keep and which she would discard. Her circumstances presented several emotional struggles and hurdles along her road which required patience, empathy, and flexibility. When my mother needed extra time, beyond the agreed upon closing date, Carey made this happen. When she needed help with removal of things she had decided not to keep , he sent his own crew to pick everything up for her. I know my mother felt his concern and caring for her—all very important when making such a huge lifestyle change!

Carey sold our house within the first Open House weekend. He helped us negotiate through the bidding war and closed the deal. We especially appreciated his help with last minute details after the sale and we were across the country.
