You need an attorney like Jonathan Shin to take care of business, and that's what he did. ************Please read below for my detailed comment************** On a dark night on Christmas Eve 2019, We got into a collision. We were not at fault. I attempted to switch information with the other driver, but she was stalling with my request. After 45 minutes and still stalling, I called the Sheriff's department. The sheriffs arrived at the scene. Once they got to the scene, I told them what happened, and asked them to get the information from the other driver since she was stalling to switch over her information. Due to her behavior, I had to get an attorney involved because she just struck me as someone I couldn't trust and one to be up to no good. I did my research and made a few calls. I finally came across Attorney Jonathan Shin. When we called and spoke to Jonathan, he answered all our questions, showed great passion in his work, clearly demonstrated knowledge of the law inside out, walked us through the process, informed us that we had a case, and was transparent with his fee. It was a win-win situation, so we decided to hire him. Once he was hired, he took care of dealing with the other party and our own insurance company. He even instructed us that if anyone tried calling us, just tell them "Talk to my attorney!" This allowed us to focus on taking care of our injuries while Jonathan took care of everything else. Some time goes by, all of a sudden, the other driver was trying to accuse us of being at fault for the collision. She even went as far as hiring her own attorney. Who knows what kind of lie she told her attorney. Anyhow, her attorney contacted Jonathan. Jonathan immediately defended us. He presented the evidence to the attorney and made it clear that his client was at fault. The attorney had a chance to look at the evidence, and think about the case, including the rhetorical question Jonathan asked him. He came to the conclusion his client was at fault. He tried to convince Jonathan to agree to 50/50 responsibility, but Jonathan quickly rebuked him. Shortly after, the attorney withdrew representing the other driver. Eventually, the other driver was found 100% at fault. Finally, it was time for the other driver's insurance company to pay up. First, her insurance company agreed to settle for the maximum amount she was insured for and requested an extension. Next, they changed their minds and tried to renege on the agreed amount. They even went as far as telling Jonathan they didn't have a recording of the call agreeing to pay the settled amount. After, Jonathan, being the expert that he is, had the perfect response for them. His response was so perfect, the next day, a check for the full amount we settled for arrived on his desk. Finally, on the following day, we went to his office and got our settlement checks. You always hear that you should get an attorney when you get into a car accident, but I never realized how true that was until now. I got rear ended resulting in my car being totaled. I initially went through my insurance company alone and expected them to take care of me. But they were trying to give out as little as possible to compensate for my damaged somewhat new car.
