Mr. Lerner understood my situation from an email I'd sent him, gave me a precise rundown of my options, explained them, then emailed me a restatement of them with his fee for each. It was a flat, straightforward dollar amount with no caveats; no "Well, it could be more." or "This is to start the process.", which is rare in the trade. He also responded immediately to further questions I emailed. I haven't yet used his service, so I can't speak to his actual performance, but my impression so far is that he's on the up-and-up, will be straight with you and isn't going to mess you around.
