My family and I had gotten into an accident, we were T-boned. My daughter was the driver, my 6yr old grandson was in the middle of the back seat. I remember it vividly as if it happened yesterday. I wish I could forget about that dreadful time in my life. Even now, due to that terrible catastrophe, I have trouble sleeping at night. On the day of this accident, I was supposed to be transferred to another courthouse. While we were in the vehicle, I was sitting in the last row, and it was on the backside. We were on the freeway 10 E to W on the way to the court but we never got there because of what happened. I don't know exactly what happened because I was at the backside. However, at the moment of the collision, I was hit really hard with the door. The front door hit my neck, back, and knees. It was too painful. After that, the driver took the vehicle back to the jail while I was suffering from the pain. I had personal injuries due to this incident that happened last September 27, 2023. I experienced a lot of pain in my neck, and back, and mostly in my knees. I also had headaches and the back of my ear was swollen. Two days after the accident, I finally received medical treatment. They gave me muscle relaxers and for inflammation, I was also having high blood pressure. Outside the jail, my cousin brought me into a personal injury law firm and my wife was the one who signed the agreement. I had been receiving treatments in jail. I even got an X-rays but the results were not with me. Aside from that, they have sent me these finest Doctors to the jail to ensure that I am doing great with my treatments. However, until now I still have more treatments needed because of my situation making it hard for us to consistently schedule treatment appointments. But I can tell that I have been doing great so far. Never did I imagine that I would be involved in such a traumatic incident. I had been sleeping poorly since then because of the pain I suffered from my injuries. The most difficult part was with my treatments, it was very hard to meet the schedules of my Doctors for them to come to the jail, but fortunately, I was able to get the right treatment. Hopefully, a few days or weeks from now, I'll be pain-free. What can I say? This kind of setting amazes me. I never realized that it would be possible for me to seek help from a legal firm since I am inside the jail. This team is FANTASTIC!
