In July of 2016, while I was in at a personal crossroads and going thru a particularly hard time in my life, I was rear ended by a drunk driver. If you're lucky enough to have never been struck by another vehicle, let me tell you-- it is one of the most terrifying experiences one could have the misfortune of going thru. After regaining my composure the best I could all things considered, I got out of my car and proceeded to watch the driver slowly back out of what used to be my bumper, and drive away. I was left completely in shock and unsure of how to proceed. Law enforcement showed up and assisted to a degree, but it wasn't until the next day that the true help showed up. Not having needed legal representation in the past, I did research online about lawyers in LA and found Brian's office. His was the only call I made, and that the best choice I could have possibly made that day. Brian himself picked up, listened to what happened, gave me advice, was patient and helpful. They took my case, and every day since the accident Brian, Mark Rubashkin, and Jeff Twomey have been lifesavers. I saw very quickly that I could not have navigated this complicated process of insurance companies, getting treatment, and fixing the chaos this accident caused in my life on my own. This accident turned my world upside down in regards to my physical health, and had a devastating affect on my every day existence. They've been there for me in every single way I needed, and have helped me thru this tough past few years. I could not have imagined a team of lawyers doing a better and more thorough job then these guys did. Beverly Law gave me high hope when signing on my personal auto injury case back in 2017. Michael Shemtoub promised to handle my case to the end and the sales pitch was amazing. My case is a solid case to prevail, where my car was hit by another care and everything was recorded by my dash camera video. I gathered and sent in all my evidence and medical treatment record. The other party admitted fault and everything is more than easy. But the communication from Beverly Law Firm is awful, I had to wait for many months before they informed me the progress. Guess what, after 1 year and 11 months (only 1 month away from 2 years statute of limitations), I suddenly receive an email saying that they dropped my case today. Haha, baiting customer in at first, wasting customer's time, and ruining my case. I think this law firm is basically an scam, please never work with this law firm! This will happen to you!

I cannot even begin to express how much I recommend Brian Breiters office for any and all legal services that they provide! In my case I was in an awful car accident one year ago. A woman ran a red light and my suv was totaled I suffered a herniated disc in my neck, a bulging disc in my lower back and rotator cuff tear. I have never been in an accident previous to this ever and was so mentally distraught because I have worked as a personal trainer my entire career, this accident affected every part of my life and was traumatizing! I spoke to and hired Brian Breiter and literally from our first phone call I felt 100% confident that he and his office would help me and I was not wrong. He was thorough, honest, caring and kept me informed every step of the way! His office is seriously amazing and Jeff and Mark are two of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever met! They took everyone of my phones calls and even listened to me while I cried many times, they worked extremely hard on my case, set up any appointments I needed while I was on the phone with them! I received my full settlement in only a year from my accident it was the fastest I’ve ever heard a case being settled, ever! They were so incredibly great in all aspects right down to negotiating down my medical bills. Again I cannot recommend them more, they were like angels in such an awful situation they are the only reason I got through the entire situation with my sanity! They are truly amazing and I’ve never met harder working and honest attorneys in my life! I highly highly recommend them!

Luckily, I haven't had the need of a personal injury attorney but I've recommended Brian to friends who have, and they sing Brian's praises, saying he's really sharp and great to work with. Brian has also helped me a number of times with consultations. And he has recommended other lawyers who practice in fields he doesn't cover and they were great recommendations. I really can't recommend him enough. If you're looking for a lawyer who shoots straight and responds quickly you've found your guy.

On October 21st of 2016 I was riding my bike, heading to the store for a quick snack. I was heading east on Rose Ave. toward Lincoln, and keeping a moderate pace in the bike lane. It was a gorgeous day. As I was just entering a crosswalk, I noticed a car coming from the opposite direction was just about to turn left onto the street I was crossing. The driver was moving quite fast and it was clear there was no way for me to get out of the way quick enough. I called out to the driver hoping to get his attention to slow down, but it was clear he didn't see me. As he entered the crosswalk, I tried to veer my bike toward the right to avoid being hit straight on. Both my body and my bike slammed into the front end of his car - passenger side. I went flying in one direction and my bike in the other. The whole event felt like slow motion, yet was only a matter of seconds from the time I saw the car approaching to the moment of impact. The car had hit me pretty hard on the left side of my hip, I flew through the air, and then landed straight onto the same hip. In trying to stand up, I could barely move, which didn't concern me at the time, as I was just grateful to be alive. The man who hit me was in a hurry to pick his son up from daycare, and unfortunately didn't have any insurance. My good friend immediately took me to the hospital. As we were in the waiting room, she contacted Brian. Several years prior, she had been struck head on by a car while walking across a cross-walk and suffered permanent damage to her back - Brian was her lawyer and helped her tremendously through her case. While in the hospital, Brian advised me on all tests, questions, and images to be taken. The next day we discussed the accident in further detail, and I was grateful for he and his team to take my case. Because the man who hit me didn't have insurance, I filed a claim against my own policy. I have excellent insurance and this is why we pay into things... for our own protection! My X-rays showed that I had fractured my pelvis, one rib, and severe whiplash. Over the next year, I was barely able to walk or even sit for longer than 5 minutes without excruciating pain. This was incredibly challenging for my work, as I'm a Pilates instructor, dancer, and Executive Director of a non-profit. I had to take time off from teaching and performing, and even sitting to work at a computer was challenging. I am not a person who goes to see doctors. I take care of myself as best I can with holistic practices. So when I needed help and referrals for finding proper physicians to look at my injuries, both Brian and Mark were 100% available. After about a year and a half of rehab, I'm doing so much better (thank goodness!) Since day one, Brian and Mark have been fully present for me. Helping me along the way, offering support in any way I needed, and have been completely transparent with everything related to my case. Nearly three years later, and my case has just come to completion - We received the full settlement amount from my former insurance company. I am BEYOND grateful for Brian, Mark, and everyone in their team who had a part in my case - And of course grateful to my friend for calling Brian on that first day. In December 2015, my life got flipped upside down when I was struck by a vehicle while bicycling. I was thrown from my bike in a busy intersection and sustained multiple injuries that required a lot of medical attention. After a couple months of being jerked around by my health insurance company to get treatment, I looked up local Attorney's for advice. I spoke with a few I discovered online and didn't get very far into the conversation before I was dismissed. Then I stumbled onto Brian's website & gave a call. One of the Attorney's on Brian's team, Mark Rubashkin, spent a while on the phone with me and answered all my questions. Shortly after, I met with Brian & Mark. After hearing my description of the accident, they were quick to help me find Dr's that would treat me. That, in and of itself justified hiring Brian. My personal insurance was jerking me around and I honestly just didn't trust the Defendant's Insurance company to get me quality medical care. So, the fact that I could see great Dr's when I needed to was a breath of fresh air. I required multiple surgeries and as time went on, the medical bills were increasing. I was stressed out because the Defendant's Insurer low balled their offer which wouldn't have even covered the Med Bills. Not to mention the future medical costs. Brian did a great job reassuring me that when this was all said & done that we would not be in the red & that my future needs would be taken care of. The Defendant's Insurers were insistent that they would not pay more than their lowball offer so we prepared to go to trial. We tried mediating but still couldn't come close to an agreement. A second mediation, however, did the trick. We agreed on a very fair settlement that would not only take care of all my medical bills (which they also got heavily reduced), but also give me a life changing opportunity to build on for myself & new family. In the end, Brian's reputation for trying injury cases & negotiating skills during mediation played a huge factor in changing my life for the better. Josh and his entire team were amazing. I was involved in a horrible Vehicle vs. Bicycle accident and received a his brochure while in the hospital. I immediately gave him a call. Him and his assistant Polo arrived at my bedside without delay and was very attentive. They guided me every step of the way with referrals to outpatient rehabilitation centers, therapy, and much more. They are the epitome of professional. I cannot speak on anyone else's case, but my case was very complex and him and his crew were able to straddle the hurdles which ultimately led to a positive conclusion. I think he really tries to help his clients. He tome was a gift sent to my husband and I. Him and his assistant Claudia are great and really keep you informed. I recommend people to go to then they will help you.

I have nothing but positive things to say for Mr. Breiter. He is a consummate professional who rushed to my assistance with great enthusiasm. His office is smartly run; calls and return calls are handled swiftly and efficiently, and I never, ever feel like just a "number" or a nameless client. Instead, the prompt correspondance always makes me feel like Mr. Breiter is prioritizing me. He was thorough and well-researched in advising me of my options. Brian just handles things, takes the pressure off you and gets things going in your favor. You could do a lot worse than to have this expert in your corner.

I chose Brian Breiter as my attorney initially based on his Yelp reviews. While I realize this may sound crazy, and I understand sometimes Yelp reviews can be “manufactured”, the sheer amount of reviews (complemented by glowing reports) are highly unlikely to be fabricated. I had the misfortune to be rear-ended at a standstill for the second time within 2 years. I suffered greatly with many injuries including numerous spinal surgeries throughout the first accident, and , again with the second. I had a horrible experience with the representation I received during the first accident and, admittedly, developed a “distaste” (to say the least) for attorneys and a blatant mistrust for their professional guidance. So, it was with this hardened prejudice that I found myself obdurate toward Attorney Breiter at our initial consultation and, although injured, began spewing my previous negative experience and “been there done that/ won’t take any S*** anymore” attitude. It was at this time, he simply asked calmly…”would you like a cup of tea”? I was so taken aback from the kindness of the statement alone, as well as the realization that I was being heard and listened to, and it was shocking. My previous attorney did not acknowledge me personally, just my case and would rush me out of the office for the next “cash cow”…and never once was I offered a beverage. So this was a small, but telling action, and I resolved to retain him that day. In accident cases, you are likely in a waiting game for about 2 years and during the course of this, you periodically need to update your file with medical records, etc, as you try and heal. You will not always meet with the high man on the totem pole, but instead with assistant attorneys, administrative staff, etc. I must complement Mark Rubashkin, with whom I had the most interaction. They say employees are a reflection of the top brass, and I had the pleasure to find the rare species of personal injury/ accident firms whose entire staff truly care and who are all kind and considerate with regard to their clients’ welfare. My emails were always answered expeditiously and respectfully, and all phone calls were answered without long waits, or no wait at all. Attorney Breiter even texts with you. My case was handled with consideration for my future and I was was treated fairly and with dignity. It was with such regard, that, upon receiving the limits of the insurance policy (and no further opportunity to pursue damages), that Brian Breiter’s office even reduced their fee, knowing what I received would not be enough to compensate me for my impending necessary future medical issues. I doubt any other attorney in this nation would be so considerate. I am forever thankful for Brian Breiter, Mark Rubashkin, and all the wonderful staff at this firm.
