I can't say enough how grateful I am to have found Stephen to guide me in such a challenging divorce, especially with kids involved and having a difficult time to communicate and reach an agreement with my ex. He is a strategist, extremely professional and knowledgable of the Law. At the same time he is sensible and attentive to his clients. We were finally able to settle our case after more than a year in the process, avoiding litigation which would be terribly stressful for the kids and saving a lot of money, time and stress. Let me start by saying: divorce is really really hard. Thankfully Stephen and Nora made this gut wrenching process 10x easier. Stephen is level headed, smart, and most importantly and rare for an attorney; he's got a ton of integrity. My now ex-wife also had a top tier attorney and not only did she pay significantly more for her representation than I had to pay Stephen but Stephen consistently kept her side completely in check and ultimately got me more than double what I was expecting to walk away with. Stephen doesn't play around with your retainer or your time, he's not afraid of overpriced "flashy" divorce lawyers and most importantly for me: he didn't let me make bad choices throughout the process. I retained or consulted with at least 5 different top tier attorneys in LA but ultimately decided on Stephen. If you have to go through the unfortunate process of a divorce, I can't recommend Stephen Chen highly enough.
