Our family was in a 5 car pile-up accident on the freeway in 2020. My family sustained injuries and our vehicle was totaled. In the middle of all the chaos, we were bounced between competing towing companies and repair shops. Mr. Ariel and his team quickly intervened. They helped us secure medical care and assisted with safeguarding our vehicle and prevented any fraudulent activity. Karen, the paralegal, was specially attentive to our son and his needs. For that alone, we are incredibly grateful for their dedication to our family. At the time of the accident I was almost 2 years into a newfound healthy lifestyle that had freed me from prescription sleep-aids and antidepressants, which I had been on for over 11 years. So, being hit by a car while cycling and suffering a Grade 5 AC Shoulder Separation (a severe injury), was quite a traumatic experience. With regard to all the forward progress I was making in my life, it felt a lot like hitting a brick wall. That being said, you would think that was the worst of it, you know, the being hit by a car part, the crazy amount of pain part, wondering if I would ever be the same part. Nope, the most stressful part was dealing with all of that AND the claims adjusters who repeatedly told me that I was not covered at the time of the accident, even though the at-fault driver provided me proof that the car was insured. Both insurance companies tried to tell me that because of the exact time of the accident, and the exact time that the first policy was cancelled, and the exact time that the second policy was purchased, I was not covered. My conversation with Catherine Lerer immediately made me feel like I was in good hands…the right hands. And that for me was the true beginning of the healing process. Once I was able to hand everything over to the team and let them do their thing, I felt like I was on the road to recovery and I was able to focus on doctors appointments and physical therapy.
