Alexander C. Payne is an expert Family Law attorney with the Minyard Morris Law Firm that accepted me as his client, and finished my 2-year divorce litigation in less than 2 months. After another failure by my former counsel to comply with court orders, which was exposed during a court hearing 3/2/2021, I had decided that new representation was necessary to have any chance to resolve my divorce case. All outcomes proved to be more favorable for my ex-wife’s counsel, and as a result, my legal position worsened while being represented by my former counsel. I have a friend whose ex-wife used Minyard Morris Law Firm during their proceedings, and recommended them stating how they were efficient and highly effective. On 3/2/2021, after my hearing with my previous legal team, I was distraught and in a hopeless situation. My initial phone call to Alex was a 20-minute conversation that confirmed I was at total peace retaining Alex as my new counsel. I was confident that he would get my divorce finalized, get me the family home and protect my 403b. He got up to speed quickly with my case and created a plan to resolve my case immediately. I was confident that I was finally in the hands of a master negotiator who could successfully negotiate with an opposing counsel that repeatedly was nasty, unfair and uncooperative throughout this litigation. The teamwork that is Alex and his highly knowledgeable paralegal, Allison Travis, made the transition from my former counsel to Alex representing me seamless. A week long back and forth with opposing counsel, Alex got me everything that I wanted, my house, my 403b and a finalized divorce. On 4/19/2021, Alex’s email to me “You’re done” were two words that was truly words of a nightmare that was finally over. I do not know if two words “Thank You” are enough to describe what Alex and Allison had done for me or if this review can live up to all the hard work Alex put into my case, but THANK YOU Alex for giving me a new life and for having my best interest in representing me. Mark Minyard’s profound wisdom and strategic mind is unparalleled. While his hourly consult rate is 2x as high, I’ve derived 10x the value in my consults with him.
