I was referred to Minyard Morris by two separate friends when I was exploring my options for counsel. I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and responsiveness by everyone from the main receptionist who took my initial call to the two different attorneys I had an introductory meetings with. This hadn't been my experience at several other firms I interviewed. I chose to retain Alex Payne and couldn't be happier with my decision. When I was in one of the darkest periods of my life-deciding to divorce my husband- I felt like I didn't know where to turn or who to turn to for help. I was given a name from a friend, so I called. I first talked to Mark Minyard, who spent quite a bit of time asking me questions about my situation. Soon after, I heard that he thought Matthew Buttacavoli would be a good match for me. From the minute I met Matthew, I felt like I had found someone who would confidently guide me through the process and have my best interests at heart. Entirely professional, incredibly bright and always thinking about what is best for his client, he lets you know that his passion is helping people navigate the confusing world of family law. First off, beautiful building and interior. The secretary (I can't remember her name) was a very nice woman. With that being said, I called on Monday and received a call-back immediately by Mr. Minayrd Morris himself. After briefing me on how his firm works, he chose to pass me to one of his firm's lawyers, Janani. This made me question my choice in law firms but I decided to attend the consultation anyway. On Wednesday (2 days after my initial inquiry), I walked into their office right at my appointment time, but I was told to wait 10-15 minutes for Janani. Finally, Janani arrived and asked me a few initial questions. I made it clear my wants and my intentions and it seemed like she was talking me out of what I wanted. There were times when I questioned if this law firm and this lawyer were with me or against me. After requesting to end my appointment early, I left their office much more confussed than when I arrived. I do not recommend this law firm.

I had the opportunity to be able to consult with both Mark Minyard and Scott Savage regarding divorce issues. Both of them were very responsive and provided sound, practical advice that thoroughly covered various scenarios and my options. I believe they have the best interests of their client at heart, and was very appreciative of their advice and how they worked with me. Very professional firm.
