Laura is very experienced and well respected estate planning attorney. I met with her multiple times, and as a lawyer I learned from her alot.

Our relationship with Meier Law started when my Mother was finalizing her end of life planning. During such a difficult time the office staff was empathetic, patient, and timely in their correspondences. Fast forward a few years with my mother passed and now our little family looking to set up our own trust we knew that Meier Law was the choice for us. Once we called they immediately remembered us which means a lot these days. The office staff went above and beyond with every explanation and correspondence. When we walked through our final draft with Josh he took ample time to answer every concern thoroughly. When we signed our final draft in office, Sydney made us feel at home and reassured us that they were there for us no matter if we had a question over the phone or needed to add an item or update to our trust. She found out our son had a food allergy and couldn't enjoy the in office snacks and sent us some treats to our front door. Yes law firms are all about business but Meier Law has found that balance of business and hospitality. It truly is a lifelong relationship and not just a business transaction.

I first heard about Meier Law Firm through an event at work, Laura Meier spoke about the importance of setting up a trust and its legal implications. My husband and I were dreading setting up our family trust but we still decided to make an appointment because Laura's presentation was so compelling. We met with Jonathan Johnson, the company's COO & Intake Paralegal. He explained the importance of the document, laid out the process in clear and simple terms, and pointed out the different details on how to make it as solid as a document as possible. Added bonus, he's very funny! Bonnie Johnson- yes, they're married- is the firm's Client Services Director and she helped us throughout the whole process. She was very patient in answering all of our questions and reminding us of each next step we needed to take. She is very thorough, exactly what you need when you are essentially laying out the future of your family in the unfortunate event you cannot be there to witness it. High expertise combined with excellent customer service!

Talking about what happens to your assets after youre gone might not be the most enjoyable project for the week! We selected Meier Law Firm to create our family trust and it was the best experience one can have. Laura Meier is knowledgeable, friendly and makes the topic an easy one to get through. Josh Meier is now our counsel for tax and other issues. The rest of the team in the office, especially Bonnie and Jonathan; again made sure we were always at the right place at the right time. Meier law firm exceeded all of our expectations. Having a parent who was in this business for over 45 years, I had some knowledge (albeit small) regarding family plan estate work. Every box was checked and then some. We particularly appreciated the hand holding through each step of the plan so we could feel confident our plan was right.
