Represented by Justin Litvack, recieved a fair and favorable settlment, office kept me informed during the entire process, office appointments were prompt. Justin always informed and educated me of my options and the process, he consistentry advoacted what was best for me in the longterm, was very satisfied even with the fact that I was injured. Commuting from San Francisco made it easy using Bart to 12th St.

This is the Worse Law (?) Firm to represent an injured worker!!!! They do NOT try to help the injured worked, instead they try to make a "best deal", which in reality benefits them. They do not review the injured worker's medical records & look for the best possible treatment for the injured worker as they go thru the process. They will even sign court orders without your approval, even forge your signature without you being aware. This is done by them NOT informing you the injured worker of what is actually being done, and using a judge in the courthouse (Judge Stanley Shields) & who previously was employed at Boxer/Gerson Law and discusses your case with the Judge & opposing attorney. That is a conflict of interest of law & breaks the Client/Attorney confidentiality. Also, as you try to contact your representing attorney there, they will NOT respond to you as they try to have your case removed/closed. They have, "approx. 350 cases per attorney" and "do not make enough money" as stated by this Judge Stanly Shields, which he added "that is why I became a judge, for more money". He actually said this in court (remember, he was previously employed at Boxer/Gerson Law). (The attorney I originally talked to was Mike Gerson, he sarcastically stated he was too busy and 'pushed' me off to a "junior attorney partner", Bert Arnold). If you ask for specific copies of anything, they do not give it to you. If you try to bring up an unsatisfied matter you have with them, then they threaten to quit your case. Try to discuss this with their 'Managing Attorney Partner' John Harrigan, he will give it to someone else to avoid/ignore your concerns of representation. If you have a significant complaint, such as your representing attorney signing a court order without your knowledge/approval, they threaten you, the client, with statements of, "you know this is Senator Barbra's Boxer's husband's law firm & your complaints could cause your case trouble", or with their threats of, "you don't want to piss off any Judge, because he will not let your case go your way", this coming from the people in that law firm directly assisting the attorneys. How can any law firm say threats & more as that? We are the injured worker, trying to go back to work and they threaten us?! My case is 16 years old, I am much worse than when my injury occurred. Multiple times I have repeated to Boxer/Gerson Law our actual rights per law of what we are entitled to. But this law firm is only looking out for themselves and NOT the worker. Remember you, the injured worker are the employer here, & your representing attorney is the employee within your case, YOU are the boss, decisions are yours to make, NOT your representing attorney's. There is so much more they have unlawfully done, there is not enough room to write it. Remember to fight for your rights especially if you have a law firm as this Boxer/Gerson representing you. You can refer to CA state Bar, (complaints about lawyers), the CA dept of insurance, OSHA for records inquiring about your work injury, CA Labor Board, the overseeing Judges (Judge Lam in Oakland courthouse), the top Judge overseeing all CA Work Comp; (Judge Richard Newman), the ACLU, and further up to the Governor of CA. The Boxer/Gerson Law firm may threaten you and/or even laugh at you (as they unprofessionally did to me). I am pursuing my rights as an injured worker, and pursuing cases against the state of CA dept of industrial relations, Work Comp Dept. etc. for negative actions of a Judge (Stanly Shields, & a judge Estrin now retired) and against Boxer/Gerson Law firm, but it's hard when the attorney's will not give me, the injured worker, my own file copies and/or refuse to return my files. Too much is happening to injured workers as this type of law is easy for representing attorneys to 'dropout' which causes the clients deprived medical attention or help for their family, etc. Do NOT have this Boxer/Gerson law firm represent you, especially if your injury is very serious.
