I would give Heather 10 stars if I could. If you want someone who will fight for your most difficult case, knows knows the law so well that she can think 5 steps ahead - Heather is your best option. She is also extremely compassionate and understands that you are human at the end of the day, not just another case. Prior to Heather I had an attorney who insulted me, made me feel hopeless, and even worse, did not discuss all the options that were available to me. After a consultation with Heather it was clear that my case was far from hopeless. As a matter of fact, she made it clear that it was not as bad as it seems while my previous attorney genuinely made me feel depressed and borderline suicidal. I chose to go with Heather for a response to a NOID, while my previous attorney didn't even mention this was possible and also told me verbatim "no one will take your case, I am your only and best chance." Long story short, Heather responded to the NOID and USCIS granted me an approval without even a follow up meeting! She made it clear in her response that she will fight til the very end and at the end of the day, that is all you can ask for. Thank you again Heather, God bless you. Truly, you gave me hope and joy. Having the opportunity to have you in my life was nothing but a blessing.

She doesn’t have enough knowledge to give any suggestions or directions and doesn’t have time to read your documents before consultation . She answer your call late on consultation . And she has very bad attitude and very rude , she would hang up on your during consultation when time is not up yet . Don’t waste your money . Her receptionist are bunch of British people doesn’t speak standard American English and you call can never get transferred to reach Heather . You would be lucky if you can even get transferred to Yvonne ( legal assistant ) who only talk to you to get your credit card charged . She and her are totally disaster and total waste and scam . If she has any success in any case that’s something any entry level attorney could easily do too . She is not some attorney you can trust at all .

Due to a number of reasons I had an uphill battle with USCIS in order to obtain my green card. For a long time I put off dealing with it and was eventually stuck in limbo - unable to leave the US for fear of not being able to come back afterwards. My life was essentially put on hold and the stress was unreal, especially since a family member was very sick at home. When you find yourself in a situation like this you need the best legal representation you can find. After searching online for an attorney who I thought could help, I came across Heather’s website. I am the kind of person that does a lot of research before making big decisions and I don’t just look at one source. I was really impressed by the reviews from former clients, and the fact that Heather is very well regarded within the family immigration field. Heather actually teaches law students and new immigration attorneys, and has been on the board of directors for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and so she is definitely on top of her game. My husband and I had a case evaluation with Heather and for the first time we actually saw light at the end of the tunnel. Heather took the time to understand our case completely (actually going a lot over the prescribed time - many attorneys will not do this or will charge you extra for it!) and quickly came up with a plan of action. She was not pushy at all, and asked us to go home and think about it before letting her know whether we wanted to retain her services and move forward. We felt great about Heather and so we asked her to get started straight away on our case. Heather did a great job of preparing the case and getting us ready for the green card interview. We paid extra to have Heather travel to our interview in San Diego, which I would really recommend to anyone. When you are dealing with something that can have such a profound impact on your life you just can’t be too careful. Heather attends many interviews in the SoCal region and so she is recognized and respected by many of the USCIS officers who are deciding the cases. Thanks to Heather (she was great at the interview), I was successful in obtaining my green card, and just recently became a US citizen. Heather has been with my husband and I throughout this long journey, even attending my naturalization interview and oath ceremony. As well as being an excellent immigration attorney, Heather is also a very warm and compassionate person, and you can tell that she truly cares about her clients. She is also LGBTQ+ friendly. We will miss our interactions with her. For anybody out there who has a tough immigration problem and is worried about how to proceed, my advice is to not wait any longer.
