Raymond Ugarte is without question the most professional and compassionate SSDI attorney. My wife interviewed six attorneys and we where initially impressed with both his knowledge of the disability law and his genuine interest to help us through a long and difficult case. He never wavered through the process. He remained focused, patient, and always receptive. I can't emphasize the value of his effort and never once did I doubt his ability to win my case. Two things are certain when applying for SSDI...you cannot do it alone and you need Raymond Ugarte by your side...

Raymond was wonderful from the first time we met. He was thorough, explained the process very clearly and answered all our questions. He called us every two weeks with updates for over 1 1/2 years. Mr. Ugarte is a wonderful attorney who knows his business. As a sufferer of Agoraphobia, getting out of my house is torture. He worked with me on my disability case with as little time away from my home as possible. He was very thorough in his explanations of each and every step in the process and made sure I understood what would happen. He made trusting him very easy.

I had attended one of Kristina’s seminars and decided to have my existing estate documents (trust, will, Health Directive, etc. reviewed by her. The trust had been created 10 years ago and a number of changes had occurred since then. I met with Kristina individually and gave her my existing documents to review. She asked a number of questions and wrote down my responses. I found her to be very diligent and thorough as we went through the process. She was able to point out a number of items that needed attention and explained my options for tightening up the trust so that my intent would be carried out. Throughout the process she was focused yet so easy to work with through what can be a very sensitive and tedious process. I could tell she really cared about me and wanted to make sure that I had full control over the distribution of my estate. At the end of the process, Kristina set up a meeting during which she reviewed each of the documents to ensure they met my needs. She arranged for a notary to be present so that every document needing to be notarized could be done right there and then. No need to take the documents somewhere to be notarized then brought back days later. She provided a number of tools to make it easy on my heirs and trustee on my passing. She made the creation of my trust very easy and the process under which it would be carried out smooth, clearly defined, and complete. If I had to do it over again I would be very comfortable going the Kristina again and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a well executed way to leave their estate to to their heirs. Lisa is an exceptional lawyer. I experienced a long, complex and contentious divorce where the ownership of my business and various assets were questioned by my ex-wife, causing the divorce process to outlast the brief two years of our marriage. The advice Lisa gave me at the beginning was spot on as to what the judge tentatively decided before making it clear we were to come to an agreement on our own. Lisa has a great understanding of the co-dependent dynamics that can sometimes be a part of relationships that fall apart. Some of her favorite advice is that the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. With this understanding of the dynamics of relationships, she helped me shore up my personal defenses and set much needed boundaries with my ex-wife. Many of Lisa’s reviews appear to be written by the parties that were opposite to her in court and while this may give one pause, I have to ask whether one really wants an attorney that plays both sides? Lisa was clearly on my team, gave great advice, (even when it was tough to hear), and is experienced enough to know when it was time to focus in and when it was more of a waiting pattern through various court dates. Due to Lisa’s experience and her sound counsel, my costs were much less than what my ex spent churning through three different lawyers, looking for someone that would tell her what she wanted to hear instead of giving her solid, frank advice. Lisa is a fantastic attorney and I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.

Attended a very informative seminar today! Kristina did a wonderful job explaining all the overwhelming legal stuff in easy to understand, digestible bits. While it’s scary to think about these what-if scenarios, its nice to have someone like Kristina walk me through this process and help me come up with a plan!

Raymond Ugarte was very helpful. I tried to apply for SSI and found the whole application complicated, and very difficult to follow. He turned the whole process into a very simple process.
