The night before trial was the longest night of my life.  I don’t know if the late night conversation with my attorney Rabin Nabizade helped calm me down or made me even more anxious as he expressed real concern and fear over the outcome but that he was ready to proceed and that I shouldn’t except the plea offer even if it involved no jail time.  I knew he was in the trench with me because I knew he was affraid.  It had been two years since I had met Rabin and through that time, he always believed in me even though it was difficult to see why as the evidence was overwhelming.  We had at that point decided to share out findings with the District Attorney in hopes of avoiding trial but did not get a response the night before trial. The next morning we meet early to over the trial process but still no sign from the District Attorney in court.  The judge actually called the case and seemed annoyed that the prosecutor was so late.  I was ready to fight the case and sat frozen in the courtroom waiting for a miracle. After what seemed like eternity, rabin walked in and told me the District Attorney verified all of our findings and was dismissing the case.  I will never forget the look on Rabin’s face as I sat there seemingly unfazed by the news.  After two years of anxiety, I couldn’t process the news until I sat my car and wept, still in disbelief. I am forever in debt to this firm for all their dedication and support.  I wanted to give up so many times but knowing they believed in me helped me through a process I would not wish on anyone
