Hired for a quick consultation. Was the only attorney who got back to me promptly to schedule something (well actually his staff set it up). When we met on the phone he gave good prompt advice and helped me resolve my question quickly and easily.

Mr.Ricks took on my case against a well know big name. His knowledge of the law and his professionalism makes him very good at what he does. Defense tried to have my case dismissed in every way possible without success. Mr. Ricks was dettermined to get me justice. During trial he was remarkable in his style and presentation of everything. Unfortunately carlos has been promoted, and is no longer an attorney. However, he is a good attorney he got me what I wanted, would of liked for him to continue with my case. But he is excellent in defence, and he will fight for you. Wish him the best of luck in his new promotion.

I spoke to Mr. Ricks on the phone and he sounded like a decent man. He said come in for a meeting but could not see me for a week. So, I scheduled an appointment and came to see him. We discussed the case, and he said he would send me the retainer agreement shortly. A week went by and did not hear from him. I followed up; then he replied he was too busy to take on my case. In all fairness he recommended other attorneys. However, I chose to find another lawyer on my own. This was not a contingency fee arrangement; therefore, I was very disappointment he was not forthcoming and wasted 2 precious weeks since my deadline to take a legal action was fast approaching. He seemed like a descent man and I have been thinking whether to give this review, but I felt I have a moral obligation to share my experience.
