I first met David Clark during a dispute over building code enforcement. I had recently joined a firm engaged in the construction of new facilities which the City had compliance concerns and issued a stop work order. David was the attorney the company had asked to address the issues. Within days, David had scheduled a round table meeting between myself another company representative and all of the City managers. In that meeting, David got the agreement of the Company and all of the City Managers to a code enforcement plan that would lift the stop work order and permit the desired construction. Further, the development of the code enforcement plan and its execution has so won the trust of the city that when city officials or the company make errors, the errors can be cleared up with a phone call. Before meeting with Mr. David Clark, I was toiling with a custody and visitation case to no avail. My divorce experience started in 2006. After two years of litigation the court of Appeals mediated a settlement that allowed my X to stay in our home until it sold at which time I would recover a substantial portion of the equity. Eight years later my X was still in the house, collecting rents, I was paying the payments and it seemed to me the house would never sell with my X in it. Then I hired David to figure out how to enforce the original judgment. David worked tirelessly and expertly to modify the judgment in a way that gave me control of the sales process. My X received an eviction date, left the home and rents are now paid to me. David also handled post trial motions to vacate the modified ruling and also handled the appeal. David Clark handled my granddaughter's divorce/custody/property settlement case. This was probably one of the most difficult, involved cases ever.
