My issue: Petition for a domestic violence restraining order was filed against me by my ex fiancé for a few annoying, poorly worded e-mails I sent her; none of which made any threats of any physical harm. My wife and I had an argument over our children, she called the police and made a false report against me. Most people have a negative conception about lawyers. It's a social/cultural thing. Sort of like the way we watch the news and proceed to lay down blanket judgements about cops...until the day you need them. Then all your misconceptions go out the window and you hope to God you get one of the good guys. Well Ty is just that; he's one of the good ones. Ty helped me get through one of the most difficult times of my life. Besides the run of the mill legal counsel and advice I was entitled to, Ty also took care to reassure me that "it's not the end of the world". He really did his best to help me come out of my ordeal with as little damage as possible.
