I cannot recommend John Michels enough. He was honest, kind, and took my case for less than any other lawyer asked for. I got into trouble back when I was 18 and was completely unaware I had a bench warrant until I was 34. John got my case completely dismissed and kept me up to date the entire way through. I met with John Michels on the worst day of my life! I was in a complete panic after a argument with my ex-wife, she threaten to call the police and accused me of some serious domestic violence allegations, and she did. Let me tell you John Michels is the truth!!!! I’m from cleveland Ohio but I got into a super manipulative situation with the mother of my child in Murrieta, CA. I had 2 felony domestic violence charges hanging over my head for about 8 months!!! John Michels made me feel comfortable and protected the entire time!!! At the end of my case everything was reduced to misdemeanors, no jail time, 20 hours of community service and a year long class. I am confident that if I went to trial all charges would have been dropped! But I plead out to misdemeanors because being away from my one year old daughter for any longer was driving me crazy!! Mr. Michels was knowledgeable along with his staff! Any time I called they answered or returned my call!! I'm 49 years old and have never been arrested as an adult. I was arrested in a series of very unfortunate events a few months ago. I was ticketed with a misdemeanor for interfering with an investigation and a suggested felony assault charge on an officer was sent to the D.A. with my case.
