I admittedly have made poor financial decisions which led to amassing a credit card debt that was going to be near to impossible to pay down anytime in the near future. It was made even more difficult when I was laid off in December of 2017 and was only able to finally secure part-time employment (only) in June of 2018. This put me behind significantly and needless to say I was quite overwhelmed and emotionally distraught. I found Affordable Legal Assistance online with multiple positive reviews. The cost for the service was more reasonable than other places and they offered a payment plan. Their team was incredibly respectful and patient and let me know what I needed to do and when it should be completed. Yes, I did need to supply documentation and fill out the paperwork, but it is a small amount of work to support their staff in helping you clear your debts and start fresh. Unfortunately, students loans are not considered "debt" so that cannot be cleared, but i am thrilled that I can start improving my financial well-being which will translate into a better quality of life overall. I will recommend calling and speaking with the team at Affordable Legal Assistance if you are considering filing for bankruptcy.
