My spouse was arrested and received three charges by the arresting officers. The two minor offenses were applicable but there was an erroneous charge that had serious consequences and zero evidence to back it up. My spouse had never been in trouble before, panicked and asked that Matt Tabo get her out of jail as soon as possible. Understanding this, he worked with the DA for a “deal” where they dropped the 2 minor offenses if she pleaded guilty to the serious one she didn’t commit. He told her she can enroll in a program, and would be out in a week. So, not understanding how serious the consequences she agreed. Once I found out what happened, i was outraged and I called around 10 times at least over several weeks and never once was able to speak with Matt Tabo. A month went by and my spouse was still in jail awaiting for this “deal” to happen, and during this time she realized how big of a mistake she made under Matt Tabos advisement.. when she finally got ahold of him and asked him to change the plea, they would not discuss until more retainer was received. So $2k more for them to reopen the lines of communication and he told her that if she wants to change her plea that she needs to find another lawyer. $7,000 and almost 5 months later, she is still incarcerated for a charge she didn’t commit that will have lasting effects for the rest of her life and Matt Tabo won’t even return a call. Thats the type of representation you will receive if you choose this lawyer and his firm. Our experience is very different from the reviews we read, and to be honest I’m not sure of their validity, because we were shown several times in different ways that he is about the money, not the well being and future of his clients. Matt Tabo is a big mistake, steer clear of this firm.

Jas is an amazing attorney. Helped me with my child custody issue. And I couldn’t be anymore happier with the work he has done. He communicated very well with me, got back to all my emails and phone calls when he could. Never left me hanging, he made sure to help me calm down as well with all the stressful parts in the situation. He explained everything clearly and to where I could understand.
