Worst experience of my life going to court facing years in prison as a young man and having this clown as a lawyer he miss lead me threw out the whole process I was told by Vega a certain date for court due to him going to be out of town I had my door kicked in for missing court and my free Covid bail was revoked I had to sit in jail for a few days waited for court vaga was hopefully there and told the judge that It was a big misunderstanding and I was not at fault the judge basically told him he was an idiot and that’s no excuse I wasn’t aware of any dates due to Vaga and the D.A. Communicating I was never informed it gets worst I had to bail out witch was a couple thousands dollars on top of playing him over 5 thousand I was trying to settle asap as soon as I got a deal that’s reasonable during one of the court dates they were agreeing on a county sentence witch would save me from prison and do about a year witch was what I wanted I was excited happy that this was finally getting over with he called me after court we both were excited I told him take the deal anythang county and around a year take it we both agreed that was the best decision he said he would get me on calendar and make it happen I called my mom out of joy told her the news well i never got a new court date and the date that was scheduled was the arrangement hearing the one before trail he called me the night before court and told me Awful news now that we’re in a new department the new da is not budging the lowest sentence I was going to get was 9 years mind you I thought I was waking up taking a year not 9 I told him I was not doing it and what happen to the other deal he acted like that was never the case and that “god him self couldn’t get me a better deal” and that I needed to take it or that it could be worst if I Lost in trail I was freaked out only had hours before court to figure something out I was reading online that I could fire him during court and ask for a continuance to me having a conflict of interest with vaga he was not pleased showed attitude and his unprofessionalism but that was the best decision I have ever made i got a new Laywer and the next court date I got 3 years with 33% witch is about a year way better then the 9 years he was telling me to take and god him self couldn’t get me a better deal I wouldn’t call my new lawyer god but he definitely got me a way better deal and made the whole experience better! do not use gill vaga for anything hes going to lose his license way he conducts his business find another lawyer beware of this clown
