Many delays, lack of communication.

Worse unprofessional immigration lawyer , they were nice untill payment was made in full , they said they will not file our paperwork till the whole payment was made, we were promised that it will take less than 6 months , Then it was impossible to get hold of any staff member. Our paperwork was filled in mid 2019 , it took them 2-3 weeks to answer any calls or questions. Kaushik Ranchod was never available. It was always their staff was sick or off . Then they finally called in April 2021 & said my phone was disconnected, I couldn’t believe they can lie to this extent . I have the same phone number for 20 + years . How were they able yo call me then ? Luckily found a good lawyer who was able to help us .

These people will make you sign a contract and make it sound like they will give you great legal representation, my experience was a NIGHTMARE. ANYTIME I HAD A QUESTION IT WOULD TAKE WEEKS TO GET A RESPONSE FROM THE LEGAL AID. If I wanted to talk to a lawyer would have to make a appointment and again wait for weeks. communication was horrible. AFTER MY K-1 VISA WAS DENIED THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER WITH NO RESPONSE FOR THE DENIAL. PICK ANY IMMIGRATION LAWYER BUT RANCHOD HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT HIS CLIENTS AT ALL

First Ranchod helped me to get my Green Card, that a A-plus. It only took me less than 1 month to get my SSN, and work permit, less than months to get my Green Card. Now they helped me to get my full CITIZENSHIP which I am so grateful for. The employees were so friendly and helpful, the gal who helped me Xenia was amazing in her knowledge and counsel. This is the worst immigration law firm! I called so many times to get a status of my case over the course of 7 years and no one ever returned my call. They finally gave me a call back and told me that the paralegal who worked on my case was no longer with the firm, they couldn't find any of my documentation and provided me USCIS contact information. When contacting USCIS, they told me that my case was denied over a year ago! This was a complete waste of time. I may just file a BAR complaint because this place is a scam! All they do is take your money, and never call you back. Save your time, and money and go somewhere else.

ATTENTION MUST READ. I Hired Kaushik for my J-1 visa waiver case turned out to be one of the worst decisions I have ever made. My wife and I found a lawyer online who claimed to specialize in J-1 visas and had YouTube videos to back it up. We booked an appointment and I drove to his office in Sacramento. During the meeting, he assured me that my case had a 90% chance of being granted. However, before filing, he demanded that I pay the full amount, which was around $7,000. After I made the payment, he handed my case over to an amateur lawyer in Florida and disappeared. For three years, I called his office repeatedly, but they were extremely unprofessional and told me that the lawyer had two weeks to respond to my calls which he never did . I never heard from him again, and my case was eventually denied after three years. The lawyer did not have the courtesy to call me about my case, and I fell prey to a scam artist. This lawyer should be investigated for his unethical practices. It is unacceptable to take someone's money and throw their case away without any communication. I am extremely disappointed and pessimistic about the entire experience.

During our initial consultation, Mr. Kaushik was very receptive to our situation and suggested we have a good chance of getting the waiver approved. So, we worked with attorney Melissa Oklan, for my waiver application. She was really thorough and worked with us to apply in a timely manner. We are happy to have been represented by them for our waiver application and happy to share that it was approved. I would recommend expert consultation with Kaushik and go with his recommendations.
