I had approached Kaushik to obtain a waiver. I had approached him because he provided the price to me. It was never easy to go through the processes of getting waiver with so many steps, complicated documents needed in every steps, and always a question remained in mind what going to happen next and in the end. But its my assessment that Kaushik with his calmness, confidence and experience had said the right things and have given the right directions from time to time, which made me feel, "well I am in good hands, no need to worry." And today, in spite of my laziness to acquire the needed documents, I have got the waiver within 10 months and 8 days." When the Court assigned Mark Mayfield as our counsel, we thought we would only have the typical lawyer-client relationship. We had a misunderstanding on one of our meetings but when we hired him as our private lawyer, things had changed. We had the chance to talk long enough that we became comfortable around him. We could e-mail him anytime we want and he would e-mail us back even if it's late at night. When we are in Court, he makes sure that we're doing okay and he constantly checks on our son. He also tells us about his wonderful family and he shares to us a lot of things about parenting. We feel that we're being treated as part of his family.
