We were referred to Ranchod Law through a family friend that was also wanting to seek permanent status in the US once my J1 was to expire. After going back and forth, a few different consultations and research, we decided that we couldn’t tackle the process alone. We were assigned to Melissa at Ranchod Law. She is wonderful. Despite being busy with other clients, we hired her for both our waiver as well as our RFE. She was with us the entire way to answer questions, and was confident in our case - and knew exactly how and when to file the forms. We just received notice that the DOS and USCIS approved my waiver, and we are now planning on our green card interview. We can’t say enough about Ranchod Law and Melissa. Don’t let this guy fool you to pay $385 consultation fee for only less than 10 mins conversation. I got fooled by his YouTube videos and some of his fake reviews. I was looking for an experience and knowledgeable immigration lawyer for my husband I-601 case for the last step RFE. I’ve already filed the I-601 on my own, but only needed the support package letter to complete the case and for my husband to return home. I came upon this guy on Google. I thought he had what it takes to get this job done, but I was dead wrong. Not only the consultation was a complete ripoff, during our conversation he was short, confused, and incompetent. He got the wrong case to start with. Then he acted as he has no experience on I-601 waiver process. He shown a big hesitation and told me there’s only 50/50 chances he can make it happen. The fee tag was $10,000 up front without installment. You see what’s wrong with this? He wants my money no matter what without any guarantee that my husband’s case will be a success. What a disappointment! Do yourself a favor hire someone else who actually care about your case.
